Resurrection is encouraged here!
Nice.
I tried writing in the early morning or night but I couldn't read it So since I started primarily logging lucids I could remember them clearly and went straight to computer to log them.
My only real journal is here too. I take notes on whatever is handy, which just serve as a reminder when the time comes to enter them here.

I'm also chugging along in EWOLD so I am doing the DS cataloging. =) Neat!
This is mine!

For one thing, the degrees are much smaller, therefore much more precise. There's these amazing new things called decimal points that can give as much precision as you like
Oh, gee thanks, I hadn't heard of those. OK, yea, well, I know C intuitively makes more sense, like the metric system, but once you get used to F, you'll see, it's really much better. Most of the world doesn't know what you're talking about, for one thing. Ha! It's like a code only certain people understand! -40 degrees. Ain't that lovely.

What the F * C K are you guys talking about?!
Oh, right.
I think there's a degree of truth in all of your arguments.

I think there's a degree of truth in all of your arguments. HAHAHA That's the best comment yet. On the subject of............
temperature measurement.
Aspir and I had this discussion already on whether F was better than C, and I trumped him... Because in F, you COULD consider it being a rating on how nice/warm the day is on a scale of 1-100
But see... when ice forms, it's not warm anymore. And in C, ice happens at 0 (as apposed to 32F)... so... IMO, ice forming zeros out the scale... it's not warm. It is 0. 32F... I mean... that's still a number, and in fact, what does 32 even mean, anyways? Yeah, it's not WARM, but it "appears" to have some kind of warmth associated with it
That's my answer, and I'm sticking to it.

That's my answer, and I'm sticking to it. Yeah I guess C is simpler. But it's more a matter of an individual is used to I think.
Maybe there is a thread for this but I'm going to start a new one anyways if there is one it's going to be ancient so...
I thought it would be fun to have a thread for posting whatever things seen or events that happen in waking life that triggers recall of a dream that had not been recalled previously.
I'll start it with today. As I was sitting quietly going over another dream that I had vividly recalled. I coughed. As soon as I coughed recall of a dream I had not recalled yet came flooding into my mind about being at the bank and some guy coughing on people. And people freaking out thinking he is infecting everyone near him with the virus.
I was sitting and thinking about my dreams when random thoughts entered my mind about the dreaming forums. When I thought of the dreaming forums it triggered recall of a dream I had not remembered yet where I was chatting with forum member "The Cusp" I don't remember the conversation exactly but I remember that The Cusp was going under a different user name. And recalling that led to recalling a dream about a fire because the fire happened in the same dream after chatting with The Cusp and I was trying to smother the fire with some kind of materials that were some kind of waste product from a factory type of machine. The materials I was using to try and smother the fire were a gritty powdery silver with pieces of debris in it. And I remembered being worried that the powder itself might be flammable as if it were gun powder or something. Then I look up and see people in bleachers watching me trying to put out the fire like I'm in some sort of stadium at a sporting event.
I saw the name "Jim" written on my computer screen. It made me suddenly remember that I saw an old friend named Jim in a dream last night that I had not previously recalled. In the dream I had just randomly ran into him somewhere and was like Jim wassup! I've not seen this person since the early 90's For a while as teens we had lived on the same street just a couple of houses down from each other and hung out pretty regularly. Then later we rented an apartment together for a while. But I've not seen or talked with him since before I took off to Colorado in 94.
I was sitting here thinking about driving to the cabin and those thoughts triggered recall of a driving dreaming I had about driving my car on the freeway and weaving through traffic. Getting a little close to scraping paint at times.
I was sitting in contemplation of my dreams after waking. And I started thinking about how a nearly became lucid during a motocross dream earlier in the month catching big air off a jump on the track. These thoughts triggered recall of another motocross fragment I had last night that had not recalled on awakening.
Edit: More delayed recall. I was just thinking about having to go back to work tonight. And those thoughts triggered recall of a fragment where I was back to work and some piece of equipment was really messed up. A common dreamsign that I need to be watching for when I'm at work.
I opened up my refrigerator and saw my jar of sliced jalapenos. And that triggered recall of a dream I had not recalled earlier where I was making a really big submarine sandwich thickly loaded with sliced turkey. I put so much stuff on it that I wasn't even sure how I was going to eat it. In the dream I went to go get my jar of jalapenos to put them on the sandwich. I got the jar but when I went back to my sandwich to put the jalapenos on it I was dismayed to find that I had somehow gotten my sandwich in the sink and the water was running. The faucet poured water all over my sandwich and made the bread all water logged and soggy ruining my sandwich. :(
The other day I was driving to work and I saw someone walking their dog. When I saw them I knew I had been dreaming something about dog walking that night that had not recalled yet. After a moment of trying to figure it out it came back to me.
I was dreaming I was out walking with my dog and we came across this guy that was walking an animal that looked similar to a possum but it had a long beak like snout with sharp razor teeth protruding. The guy had a full body harness on the possum creature rather than just a collar. The possum creature was snarling and hissing viciously.
I dropped my lost friends collar on the floor and it triggered recall of a fragment I had not previously recalled of accidentally breaking her collar. But then realizing that it had just came unclipped and was not actually broken.
I'm on a bit of a wake back to bed and listening to Tidal music. I completely randomly started browsing some classical stuff. (Normally I'm almost always listening to my dark ambient tracks.)
I begin hearing a flute playing which triggers recall of a dream that I did not recall at all up until that point. In the dream, I was home and playing a flute... Well, trying to figure it out anyways. I randomly had the flute and was trying to figure out how to make it work. I was both failing and having success in playing it at different points.
I'm kind of fascinated by the coincidence of the dream and coming across the flute music shortly after. I may never have recalled the dream at all had I not come across that music which triggered the memory of it. And I can't help but wonder if there is any kind of unconscious correlation between the dream and stumbling upon the flute music. Playing the flute in my dreams is not a common thing at all. I will sometimes have piano playing dreams and guitar playing dreams but don't recall trying to play any flutes in my dreams before.
I had delayed recall of a lucid last night. Several hour delay on it. It came back to me while I was trying to record a different recalled non lucid dream. I guess it shows an example of recording and recall. That seemed to happen to me more when I was using a notebook though, before I started an online Journal in 2007. I'd be writing out a dream in my notebook and random dreams, sometimes long forgotten from many years previous that were never recorded would just come flooding back to me.
My paper notebook for sleep side notes is just a cheep basic notebook and it's a tattered falling apart mess with loose pages falling off of it and laying about my sleeping space. It's kind of funny actually. I'm going to have to get a new one soon, I think. I'm getting to the end of it.
Edit: Before I started using a keyboard and keeping a Journal online I used a Spider-Man themed notebook for designated lucid dream recordings, as I had always associated Spider-Man with lucid dreaming because of his high flying agility and acrobatics. I had always been parkouring through my lucid dreams long before I ever heard the term parkour and found out it was a real world thing people do. I had never heard the term parkour until the parkour zombie apocalypse video game "Dying Light " came into existence.
One time sitting at a traffic light a lady in the passenger seat of the car next to me was looking at me as I kept looking back and forth at my watch several times. I see her turn and comment to the person in the seat next to her and I was pretty sure she was talking about the weirdo that keeps looking back and forth at his watch. I was amused.
