Hello, I actually joined this wonderful site when I was in eighth grade but forgot about it due to my busy school schedule. I guess I will introduce myself once again. My name is Emily and I’m a seventeen year old girl who lives in Virginia. (I moved from Florida, my longtime home, during December of 2010.) I’m quite interested in dreams, especially lucid dreams. I’m interested in art and I love to draw, make Electronic music, write, and sing. My dreams influence my art major time. I’ve been writing down my dreams since I was in sixth grade but I can remember my dreams from long ago. As in, dreams from when I was seven. I guess I have good dream recall due to the fact that I've been writing my dreams down for awhile now. My dreams are special to me because of all the wonderful things I’ve seen in them. In fact I call my dream world the Dreamscape! I’m on this site since everyone else here (obviously) shares an interest in the worlds of our minds! I’ll begin my dream journal with last night’s dream… But first! Here are a few theme songs for my dream world and the information you need to know.

It looked like Juhi’s mansion.  But it was owned by my family. I went into the foyer. My parents were there. I told my parents that I wanted to run away. I ran into the back of the mansion. I found a screen-in room with a pool. Plants where growing around the pool, dipping their tendrils into the crystal blue water. The nurse from Romeo and Juliet came into the room. She told me in a loud, exaggerated voice that she would report me back to my parents. The nurse winked. She unlocked the back door. My parents were now in the backyard. I moon jumped onto a palm tree. It morphed into the top of a canopy bed. The other palm trees followed suit. I started to bounce on them…/…I was in a grocery store. The aisles ran off into infinity. Everyone was trying to run into the aisles even though there where obvious dangers. I couldn’t physically see the dangers but I could feel them in the core of my being. I was with a blonde, female DC who looked like my classmate Destiny. I started to talk about wanting to try new eyeliner. A table with eyeliner appeared. I picked up sticks of black/blue eyeliner. DC Destiny told me that liquid eyeliner was too advanced for me. I scoffed at her and picked up a pencil stub. She told me that was much better. We started down a freezer aisle. Ice cream was in all the fridges…/…Grandpa F. and I were driving up to Virginia. We were going to see Sharron. We arrived. Her house was a cottage that had been blown up like an inflatable bounce house. It was drooping. It had a foamy quality when I touched it. Sharron came out of the back door. I told her that she didn’t have to live in a horrible house. Eriq appeared. We talked about seeing the rest of our relatives. I looked at the sky when I said I wanted to go on a plane. A storm synthesized; ominous clouds hung low in the sky.  A plane was traveling through the airspace. A pair of business men were floating in the sky. I started to wonder if The Langoliers could be true. I wondered what would happen if we went through a time warp on a plane… END DREAM

DREAM 02(Fragment Dream)I was at my computer. I was checking my messages on DeviantART. Messages from the Felarya club flooded my inbox. All the messages were from the same Vore artist. He was obviously not talented at art. He interrupted a conversation I was having. He kept trying to tell me something…/…I was at school. I was thinking about getting money to use in the vending machines… END DREAM

DREAM 03 (Normal Dream)I was in a unfamiliar house. Grandpa F. was cooking spaghetti in a small kitchen. The whole room had an weird orange/yellow tint. I went upstairs. I went into Eriq's room. It was messy. A caramel swish of movement caught my attention. A cockroach ran out from under a blanket. I freaked out and tripped over some of Eriq's stuff. Instead of escaping the room, I stepped on a dead cockroach. I screamed for somebody. A faint muttering came in response. I locked myself in Eriq’s closet. His closet was bigger than usual. Coat hangers were at the far end of the room. The floor was titling at a downward slope. There was a minuscule bed. A toddler might sleep in it. I wondered why Eriq would need a bed like this in his closet. Eli might fit in it but even he might have some trouble! Eriq might have this bed because he was terrified of the cockroaches in his room. I wondered why the floor was caving in. I left Eriq’s room. I went to my room. It was too dark and vague to remember. I left my room. About ten cockroaches were flying around. I calmly went into the bathroom. There was a fuzzy, blue rug sitting beside a polished white toilet. The shower had a kid-safe curtain with bright, blue colors and a cute rubber duck print. I went back downstairs. Grandma F. put a strainer of noodles in the middle of the table but left the pot of spaghetti sauce on the stove. We got our spaghetti and started to eat. I wondered what my report card this semester would be like…/…I was on my computer. I went into the kitchen. I went back to the computer. I went to the Anjunabeats website…END DREAM

Someone likes trance!

Do you listen to any old stuff? I listen to alot of trance from the early 90's. If it's newer i usually prefer progressive!

But i'm a huge electronic music freak, i listen to it all! I grew up on techno and acid (as you might notice by my screen name :p)

Yep! I love Trance music so much!   It appears in my dreams all the time. I actually love EDM in general.

Most of the old tracks I like are J-songs from the 90s.

A majority of what I like is from these labels: Anjunabeats/Anjunadeep, Armada, and Enhanced Recordings. But I also find a lot of jems just searching around on last.fm, iTunes, and YouTube.

I like some Techno. (DJ Icy is my fave Techno DJ.)

I also really like Ambient, Happy Hardcore, Nu Style Gabba, Rave, House, ect. Glad to see someone else who likes EDM.

The last EDM song that appeared in my dreams was Nitrous Oxide - Red Moon Slide. (Just want to include this... The last normal song that appeared in my dreams was Dido - Northern Skies.)

DREAM 04 (Normal Dream) Me, Eriq and Dad were going to this strange beach where to get down to the beach, you had to descend down a twenty story flight of steps. The top of the stairs where made out of sand but the railings were not. This was difficult for Dad since he slipped and fell headfirst into a step. Me and Eriq quickly pulled him out but he just fell into the bottom step up to his shoulders. I panicked because I thought I would not be able to pull him out but Eriq did. I glanced around at the beachgoers. The beach was full of them but they all still seemed so far away. The beach itself seemed quite nice. The water was an unnatural deep blue, the sand a pure soft white, and there was a cliff that you had to walk down just to get to it. On the other side of the water there was some blurry trees…/…I was in my high school alone. It appeared dim and the whole building was not leveled, some parts being higher than others. I was standing on a piece of the building that looked like the chorus hallways but the end was broken so you could see out into the parking lot. Kayla came out of nowhere and walked right past me. I called out to her and she greeted me. I asked her why she wasn’t in class. Her look told me because she didn’t feel like it. I silently followed her. I felt a teacher stalking me and I told Kayla that particular teacher was out to get me. I ran into a hallway that kept curving sharply. I found a secretary and begged to use her office to hide. She let me. I locked the door. I could hear the voice of the teacher getting closer. I stupidly hid under the secretary’s desk even though the teacher would obviously see me. I heard the teacher trying to open the door. She demanded why it couldn’t be open. The secretary said it was because she was trying to raise her dead cats’ spirits…/…I was in my high school's library. I could feel it was the end of the year. The library seemed larger than it usually is…/…I was running after Maija. She was blubbering about people being mean to her. I told that she was an epic person so she shouldn’t care what they say. She didn’t listen to me but instead, she ran out of the school. I sighed, walking out to the bus loop. I looked up into the sky as I was getting on my bus. It was a grey blanket of rain waiting to happen. Maija was nowhere to be seen. The bus driver muttered something about her…END DREAM

That beach in your dream, deep blue water, white sand... Sounds like a place i should visit!

I had a beach like that appear in a dream for me, a few weeks back. Warm wind, white sand, and the most gorgeous turquoise-blue water I've ever seen!

feist303-Yeah, "Hunter" is a good one to! But my absolute favorites by her will always be "Sand In My Shoes (Above & Beyond Remix)" and "White Flag". That beach was beautiful!

Serenity-Beaches always seem to be better in dreams!

DREAM 05 (Normal Dream) I was in a small apartment with some of my DC friends. This was a rather small apartment with only one bedroom and a tiny kitchen. My DC friends were two little girls and a boy about my age. Their father came out, ready to greet me. He seemed sincere but he was gruff looking in appearance. He had a five o’ clock shadow and some dirty overalls. His three children pulled out twenty cents. He gleefully took the twenty cents. The children beamed thinking they were going to be fed that night. But the father just laughed and told them it was obviously for him. He was the one who was going to eat that night. I thought about my poor friends for a second and then turned around to leave. I walked down a hallway and then jumped right through a glass window. It did not break. I was on the third story of the apartment building. I jumped down onto the roof of the second then onto the first then onto the road. I slipped into Grandpa F.'s waiting car. Mom and Eriq were also there. I noticed there were lot’s of tall evergreen trees around this apartment…/…I was told to go into a convenient store by Mom to get some donuts. I went into a small grey convenient store. It was a long grey building with grey tiles, ceiling and walls. Grey everything! There was a long counter from wall to wall. Two ladies huddled in the far corner dressed in pink smocks. Other than that, the building was bare. I went over to them and inquired about some hazelnut donuts. They nodded and one went into the back to get some for me…/…I was in an odd place in which there was a normal city but beyond that everything sharply turned into wasteland. In the wasteland there was a vast steel building being constructed. I was with a group of about twenty kids. I laughed at them since they seemed to be scared of everything in the wasteland. I walked over to the building and started to climb it. I noticed that the city and wasteland were like a video game map since past the edges there was nothing but bright blue void. Mew (a legendary Pokémon) was there being his cute little pink cat self…/…I was with Mom and Eriq in a WalMart. The WalMart morphed into a mall as we explored it. There were lots of clothing racks spread neatly by the opening. Mom transformed into a Spanish woman…/…I was in an airport that had a silver and white color scheme…END DREAM

Thanks for your comment in my journal  You have great recall and some beautiful sounding dream scenery. So, do you become lucid very often? You probably already know this but a good idea is to type lucid parts of your dreams in a different coloured font. I'm looking forward to reading them!

DREAM 44 (Fragment Dream)I was on a roller coaster that stretched across the ocean but then my Dad and little brother Eriq were in the coaster and I was flying along beside them...END DREAM

I've been dreaming of Mario too a lot recently, mostly in his Super Mario 64 likeness

Yeah, must be becuase I love dreams and the mechanics behind them so much so I end up asking stuff like that in the dream itself. Really? I'll have to check your journal out then. XXD I usually see Mario in his "Paper Mario" form and I see Fawful, Dimentio, and Count Bleck in my dreams a lot. (if you are familiar with those villains.)

DREAM 45 (Normal Dream)I was in a Wal*Mart at night.../...I was in hospital where one of my relatives was in the hospital but I was not allowed to see who it was. I sat out in the empty waiting room becuase I knew whoever it may be was dying. The lobby was eerily empty except for one flickering light by the nurse's desk. No one was there. Then a nurse turned the corner and brought me over to her desk were there were lot's of treats. She offered me a super nutty muffin from a basket on her table and said it was especially for me. I okay it and started eating then crying.../...I ran into a room were I knew something bad was going to happen. I turned around and heard a voice tell me: "Oh please, it's too late girl. You might have tried hard but it's too late for you and them." I turned around and saw it Fawful from "Mario" talking...END DREAM [again, more "Mario" dreams... i reaaally want more "Mario" games so that must be why... STOP STALKING ME IN MY DREAMS FAWFUL!! ]

That empty, dark waiting room is all too familiar to me IRL.  I''ve spent more than one night in them.

Aw, I'm sorry about that. :( I've only been in a place like that once; when I had appendicitis.

DREAM 46 (Normal Dream)I was locked inside my grandparents house as a prisoner to someone who was acting like Jigsaw from "SAW". It was night and no matter how hard I tried the doors would not open. So I sat down in my Grandpa's dim office. The ceiling opened up revealing a otherworldly spectacular scene in the sky. Gigantic amoeba like structures flitted across the sky oozing and melding into one another. The whole sky was a deep purple/gray because there were rain clouds among the giant amoeba structures being illuminated by the unseen moon. Everything was moving so organically, it looked so realistic. It really reminded me of a giant lava lamp but one that had been broken into the sky...END DREAM

Loving the Mario influences! I've been Mario in one of my dreams once, very very cool!

I plan to pick up Galaxy 2 sometime soon, hopefully it will rub of to my dreams!

Me to, I love "Mario"... XD Although the latest Mario one with Fawful kinda creeped me out. But was still cool just cause' it's a character I like. XD

"Mario Galaxy" dream, now that would be something! I want to get "Bowser's Inside Story" that's my Mario goal right now. <3

Yeah, i've still got catching up to do with the some Mario NDS games, and i've got New Super Mario Bross laying around to, but haven't gotten a chance to play it though! Finishing the latest Final Fantasy now!

And then i've still got zelda both on wii and nds and the last 2 metroid's to catch up on to! Oh, and Wario for WII. I'm so running behind, i game very little nowadays, but still plan to catch up on everything Nintendo!

"New Super Mario Bros" is awesome! I played that one a billion times, so fun! Haven't played "Final Fantasy" but I watched the anime. XD All of those games are great except Wario... I dun like Wario. XD But Samus and Zelda kick ass!

DREAM 48 (Fragment Dream)I was with my World History teacher, Mrs. Repass, in my kitchen. She had done a doujin and I was complementing her one how detailed the art was.../...A boy was in a giant test tube filled with blue liquid... END DREAM

DREAM 49 (Lucid Dream/Normal Dream/Wet Dream)I was in a airplane being seated.../...I was in a empty airport that had just been built meaning everything was empty; no people or shops just the hollow building. Me and Princess Peach from "Mario" were running away from a unknown force. We ran up onto the roof where I grabbed her hand and we flew down to the road below.../...I was in a small grocery store where I realized I was dreaming. I walked over to my Dad who was seated at a cafe style chair and table in front of the frozen aisle. I told him "I AM DREAMING! Your not my real Dad. Now give me pizza!". He said yes and gave me some pizza that was automatically heated up. I ate some and it tasted so real. I then looked across the store and could clearly see Hawaiian punch bottles on a shelf. It was glorious. I could also notice the whole store had a weird orange glow to it. I wondered why but thought since I was dreaming I should conjure up a character I like. So I turned a corner and found Fawful from "Mario" there. It was really cool becuase since I was lucid I knew he wasn't real but I still talked to him anyways. A doorway appeared and he ran threw it. I went over to my Dad and shook him, demanding to bring Fawful back. I looked into the doorway and realized I shouldn't go into it since it was all dark. Bad stuff usually happens in my dream like that. So then Fawful came back but ran away a minute later. I walked into the back of the store to find that I had turned tiny and everything was gigantic. There was a giant door and ceiling fan.../...I was in a house trying to have sex with three other girl DCs. We dragged the Asian DC into the shower and ripped off her shirt.../...I was in a random house with my Grandpa trying to go into his room. He told me "please, go in after four o' clock or the door will beep and it's annoying"...END DREAM

Great job summoning a fantasy character like that! I probably wouldn't be able to pull it of!

DREAM 50 (Normal Dream)I was in a cathedral with a random DC who I couldn't figure out if it was a boy or girl. A old lady drew green alchemy patterns on our left wrists and over our hearts so we could hijack Zelda and Link from "Legend of Zelda"'s souls. We took out giant screws and screwed them into ourselves. There was a bright flash of light and our old bodies "died" and we took over Zelda and Link's souls. I turned into Link and the other person turned into Zelda. We started walking through a "spirit world". It looked like a dimension of purple mist and random rooms. We found a fat Chinese nerd in one room watching porn. We asked him what we should do and he told me to get him the "Legendary White Pretzel" first. I went back onto Earth and stole a bag of white chocolate pretzels from a store. I ran out and a giant buffalo chased me. I tried to fly away.../...My Dad was driving me and my little brother Eriq to Cocoa Beach. The Golden Gate bridge sprung up and we started to drive over it but both sides broke so we drove into the water. My Dad started screaming: "OH MY GOD! WHAT THE FUCK?"...END DREAM [this dream's start was like some kind of witchcraft. ]

METAL GEAAAR! I love that game and so does my brother. Very cool. Never heard of "Killzone" but the other two are good games.

DREAM 51 (Fragment Dream)My old broken computer in my room was somehow working again and I was downloading albums by the band globe on iTunes.../...I was in my Virginian grandparents house with a bunch of zombies.../...I was in my room chasing a German cockroach. It ran behind my dresser which for some reason had been pulled out so much I could walk behind it. I pushed it back against the wall where it belonged.../...I was helping record a music video for the Korean singer Son Dam Bi's new song "Queen". She looked beautiful in the setting sun. We were recording at a carnival by the ocean. We got footage of Son Dam Bi dancing, little kids by the ferris wheel, and people surfing on sharks...END DREAM

DREAM 52 (Fragment Dream)I was in the local neighborhood Wal*Mart buying a bag of spicy Cheetohs. I started to eat them but they hurt my teeth. I looked into a random hand mirror to find a tooth in the back of my mouth had a deep crevice in it...END DREAM

DREAM 53 (Normal Dream)I was in my Virginian grandparent's house. My Mother said she wasn't my real mother and that she was a clone. She said she hated me. I followed her downstairs where she said we should fake hug. I said no and decided to leave with my cousin's Tegan and July. I went to the guestroom and packed up all my belongings in a suitcase. My little brother Eriq was outside of the room setting up balloons with characters from "Alice and Wonderland" pictured on them. He tied a string and put a knife on it to hit me. I popped all the balloons and smirked at him. I thought about going back to Florida with my Dad. Then I got into Tegan's and July's car. We started to drive somewhere over a mountain. I looked out the back window and could see a supercell looming on the distant horizon. On the left side of the car was another supercell. I sat back down and my stomach started to feel like it was going to explode. I fell asleep. We stopped at a gas station. I woke up and went into the bathroom in the gas station but all the toilets were out in the opening. There was a group of people meditating on them but not going to the bathroom. I sat down on a empty toilet and peed, hoping I wasn't being to rude. I asked a older gentleman for some paper towels and he gave them to me. I returned to the car but as soon as I strapped myself in my stomach started to hurt again. I asked were we were going and July said to our Aunt Cindi's house. I asked about her cats and when I looked out the window there they all were on a hill. The car was so close to the hill I could reach out and pet each cat. I saw Patches there and called out to her. The sun was starting to set and the grass looked a vibrant bright green. The cats looked so happy...END DREAM

DREAM 54 (Fragment Dream/Lucid Dream)I was at my old middle school trying to jump off the roof and fly away from a unknown force. I could hear students saying I could do it. I flew up and started to fly high over the rooftops of the houses. I started to talk to myself: "I am flying therefore must be dreaming since this only occurs in my dreams. Oh wait, I'm lucid! Let's see what I can do...".../...I had a false awakening where I woke up in the morning on my bed.../...I was in a airport were some random guy was trying to feel up my shirt.../...I was watching a video game cut scene that looked like a side scrolling game in a broken factory. Two chain chomps were yelling at each other...END DREAM

DREAM 55 (Fragment Dream)I was in my astronomy classroom were a substitute teacher was telling me to report to my keyboard classroom.../...I was writing the lyrics to Above & Beyond's song "Liquid Love" on my current sketchbook. My Dad came over and said that they were good lyrics thinking I had made them up...END DREAM

DREAM 56 (Normal Dream)I was in a airport running with my little brother Eriq. Wario from "Mario" ran by us along with my dead cat Prince. They ran up a vent shaft on the other side of the lobby. I ran over to it and so did Eriq. He climbed into it and disappeared. I reached my hands up into it and felt something warm, wet, and sticky dripping onto my hands. It was pretty damn creepy! I thought something really bad had happened to Wario, Eriq, and Prince. I went blank for a moment then was back on the other side of the lobby. I walked over to the vent shaft and peered into it this time; I saw a clear passageway leading to the outside. Everyone was back...END DREAM

DREAM 57 (Fragment Dream)I was in the local neighborhood Wal*Mart running out of a aisle becuase a gigantic clock pendulum was swinging towards me.../...I was at my Virginian grandparents house at night...END DREAM

DREAM 58 (Normal Dream)I was with my family in our car and we were driving home from my old middle school. The car morphed into a monster truck and the landscape morphed into a land of rolling brown mud hills. My Mom was driving and we kept speeding up faster and faster... She yelled at my Dad: "I JUST WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH MY KIDS!" A man on a motorbike sped in front of us and fell off his bike. We all jumped off the monster truck and there was a gap in the landscape we had to cross to get home. A wall of mud with a clock rose up out of the gap in front of us. A humming bird came and broke the clock hands...END DREAM

DREAM 59 (Normal Dream)I was in this wonderful place that was like a giant public pool. It went on to the horizon in all directions, green tiles gracing everything. I was walking around. There were many pools and jacuzzis people were having a good time in. The water splashed on me and felt warm and cold. I loved the feel of this place. For a minute it switched to a third person P.O.V. and I was watching Mario in his "Paper Mario" form fall onto a green tile rendition of himself. Then it was back to me. I went over to a edge of one of the pools and sat down. Saya from "Saya no Uta" was there and so was my little brother Eriq. Patty and Selma from "The Simpsons" were also there. I laid back in the water and noticed green tile towers stretching up into the sky...END DREAM [i really love this dream...]

That is a lovely dream space.  One to remember in times you need distraction or to be able to relax.
