Work - Being Left Behind (Super Vivid) I'm at work building something with my boss and other guy I used to work with a few years ago when they leave to get something. A bit later I discover that they've left me all alone in this building with no transportation to get back home. Since I seem to be in the middle of no where I'm thinking that I'm going to have to wait for them to come back the next day before I can go home.

Bedroom - Having Moved Out (Super Vivid) I'm looking out of my bedroom window of this house I just moved into, looking out and enjoying the view of the lake, only it seems like I've just moved out of this house and need to get my things out now. This seems to be the last night I'm going to stay her before I move out.

House - Getting Ready To Move Out (Super Vivid) I'm in this house I just bought and the wife and I are getting ready to move the house somewhere else. We have this special device in the house that is used to move the house with, that needs to be turned on in order to air it up before we use it. So we turn it on and allows it to fill up with air after which I'm unimpressed with it and am wondering if it will work at all. I ask the people who we borrowed it from if they can guarantee it will work.

Telephone Pole - Putting Up (WILD) I'm putting up this long telephone pole across the lake in my back yard as a fence to keep people from falling in the lake.

Work - Getting Ready To Go Jogging (Super Vivid) I'm at work when I decide to go jogging, and am looking for a computer to print out a list of things that I memorize while jogging. I go into this receptionists office who used to work there but retired where I notice 3 or 4 computers al turned on. I move her purse out of the way in order to use this one computer and am ready to print out my list when she walks into the office.

When she says excuse me I decide that I no longer need the list as I already have these things memorized, so explain to her that I was going to print out a list of things to memorize but just decided that I no longer need the list. When I leave her office I notice that I have her purse with me, so take her purse back in to her and explain that I moved it out of the way. She's concerned that this bottle inside her purse may have gotten broke, so checks out her purse. Fortunately the bottle is alright.

Vet - Giving My Cat A Shot (WILD) I'm at this vet while lucid who is getting ready to give my cat a shot in her leg. As he has no assistant with him he is holding the cat with one hand and carefully sticking the needle in using his other hand.

Pipe Going Out Into The Lake - Guy Checking Out (WILD) Some guy is checking out this pipe that goes into this lake behind my house while I'm lucid. When he unhooks the pipe from inside my house I'm concerned that water from the lake is going to come into my house from the pipe. But nothing comes in through the pipe as the pipe appears to be empty.

Moving Things Out Of The House - Finding A Long Metal Rack The wife and I are moving things out of our house when we find this long metal thing like a counter which I decide to keep inside and use for something.

Jogging Through A Park - Using My Imagination To Propel Me Around The Final Lap (WILD) I'm jogging through this park where I go jogging a lot while lucid where I have just competed 3 laps and am planning to jog 1 more lap. As I pass where our car is parked I notice several other cars and trucks in the parking lot next to our car. I use my imagination to propel myself around the park the final lap and complete it in record time.

Dining Room - Decorative Table Cloth (WILD) I'm in my dining room while lucid where I notice this decorative table cloth on the table.

Back Yard - Picking Up Trash (WILD) I'm in my back yard while lucid where I notice all of these paper cups and beer cans that I'm going around picking up and throwing in the trash. After picking up several pieces of trash I get a better idea so create a huge vacuum cleaner that covers my back yard that sucks up all of the trash without picking me up.

Intersection - Waiting To Turn (WILD) I've pulled up to this intersection in my car while lucid where I'm waiting for this guy to cross the street who is wearing this work shirt that makes him look like a repair man. As I wait for him to cross the street I'm watching the cross walk sigh as it ticks down letting him know how much time he has left to cross the street, which number goes down to 22 before he is across the street.

Alarm System - Turning On Using A Keypad (WILD) I'm turning on the alarm system in my house using a keypad while lucid when a computer screen shows up in front of me that says PC remote expansion slot. (Now that's an idea, integrate my PC into the alarm system).

Grocery Store - Parking Lot (WILD) I'm in the parking lot of this grocery store while lucid getting ready to walk toward the store when I see this gal wearing this safety vest round up all of the carts. I decide to give her a hand so use my imagination to round up the rest of the carts and then move them to the front of the store. She's now standing there with a puzzled look on her face wondering how this happened.

Driving Toward The Airport - Flying The Rest Of The Way (WILD) I'm driving down this road heading toward the airport while lucid. As there are several cars ahead of me I decide to just relax and take my time. I then get a better idea so cause my car to float up into the air and fly the rest of the way to the airport. After circling the airport a couple of times I head back home and land in my yard.

Moving Things Out Of My House - Finding A Large Metal Rack I'm moving a bunch of things out of my house with the help of several other people when I come to this large metal rack that I decide to keep in the house to put things in.

Front Yard - Large Cypress Tree (WILD) I'm in my front yard looking at this cypress tree while lucid, only the tree is about 10 times larger in diameter than usual as it is huge.

Looking Out The Window Of An Apartment Building - Canal Running Through This City (WILD) I'm looking out the window of what feels like an apartment building while lucid where I see this canal that is about 20 feet wide that runs through this city. When I turn around I see this man walking toward me down the hall.

Watching A Game Show - Guy Changing His Bid And Winning (WILD) I'm watching this game show like the Price Is Right while lucid where everyone is bidding on this large showcase item like a bedroom suite, which after everyone bids on the item one guy changes his bid to a higher amount when he finds out that this car comes with the item. The guy who changed his bid then wins the showcase even though the amount he had bid was over the actual amount as everyone else had bid way too low which somehow disqualified them.

Back Yard - Large Metal Box In The Ground (WILD) I'm looking out at my back yard while lucid where I see this large metal box in the ground that has all of these large PCV pipes running to it.

Metal Container - Trying To Figure Out Where To Put It (Vivid) I'm trying to figure out where to put this 50 foot long metal container that is being delivered to me when the person dropping it off finds the perfect place to leave it at.

Car Wash - Finding Several GPS Devices (Super Vivid) I'm getting ready to leave on vacation with my parents and younger brother when we stop at this car wash to wash our cars, which car wash is right up the street from where I used to live in Nebraska. There is a line of cars on the outside of the car wash which have already been through the car wash which are just sitting on the outside of it for some reason.

When I see a couple of GPS devices laying on the ground that appear to have been there for a while, I pick them up and put them in my pocket as I assume that whoever lost them is long gone. When I see a newer GPS device laying close to the exit door with a cord on it, I'm thinking that someone may have just lost that one, so I leave it alone. When my brother sees it though he picks it up and puts it in his pocket.

I notice at this time that there are several cameras in the car wash and am wondering if they saw us pick up the GPS devices. A bit later this guy walks up to the manager of the car wash and tells him that he lost his GPS device somewhere in the car wash, after there are 3 guys from the car wash looking for his GPS device. I'm thinking that we should turn in the GPS device that my brother picked up, but my brother is now gone. When my brother shows back up I tell him what is going on as we watch the guys from the car wash reviewing some tapes from their camera to see if they can find where the GPS device was lost. Although they appear to be having a difficult time locating our stall on their tapes, we decide to return the one GPS device and tell them that we just found it under some dirt.

We go back home because I have to take a piss. I hear my parents say that we may as well leave later now since we have already gotten a late start. The 3 guys from the car wash now show up in my house, one of who is Chuck Norris, another who is a karate expert, and another who is a jerk. The jerk walks into my exercise room and starts accusing me of stealing all of my exercise equipment from his car wash. They appear to have followed us home. After I convince him that I bought all of the exercise equipment I shake hands with Chuck Norris and the karate guy as they are leaving, but ignore the jerk. When Chuck says something like I should shake hands with the other guy also, I reach back and shake his hand after which I wake up.

Picnic - Eating Food I'm outside at this large picnic in a park area where there are a lot of ladies going through a line and getting some food.

Wiring - Talking To A Lady About (DILD) I'm talking to this lady about this 220 wiring that I'm having run underneath my house for a dryer when I become lucid and wake up.

Ocean - Foggy (WILD) I'm on this beach looking into the ocean while lucid, but it is early in the morning and there is so much fog and mist over the water that it is difficult to see very far.

Looking Out A Window At A Forest - Room Appearing (WILD) I'm looking out this window into a forest with these tall trees while lucid when the scene changes and the area I'm looking at is a room from about 100 years ago with this old bed with these throws on it and a wood burning stove in the room.

Looking At A River - Weeds In The Way (WILD) I'm on the bank of a river while lucid trying to look out at the river, but there is all of this tall grass growing on the in the river on the that is making it difficult to see much of the river. I float up over the river to get a better look and then notice this beautiful sunset in the distance.

Car Accident - Watching (WILD) I'm watching these two cars run into each other on the street in front of my house while lucid when I suddenly hear a loud crash that wakes me up. When I look outside IRL there are two cars sitting on the street that have just collided.

Work - Old Job From Several Years Ago (Super Vivid) I'm in this large office with a lot of people in it working this job that I used to work several years ago, working this job that I had likes a lot better than the first job I had worked in this department. When DM who I had worked with on a later job in another department comes in to work his shift he wonders what I'm doing there as I seem to be have been called in to work the same job that he is working and suggest to the person in charge that they have me work this earlier job I had worked that I hated.

As he has been traveling and working jobs out of town someone suggests that he work his own job in town for a while. I'm thinking I would like to stay on the job I had been working instead of working the job he suggested to the manger. Some has working another job has some kind of alarm that she sounds off which wakes me up as it is the same sound as my alarm clock which is going off.

Swimming Pool - Obstacle Course (WILD) I'm going through something like an obstacle course that is setup in this swimming pool while lucid, that has these steps that go up and down and these slides that I'm sliding down. I'm going through the course as fast as I can taking 4 or 5 steps at a time and then gliding down entire stairways as I race against this other person. I start around the course in one direction and then change directions and come back around the other direction and finish the course way ahead of the other guy.

Sunglasses - Checking Out (DILD) I'm checking out these sunglasses in this department store when I check out some sunglasses that have an outdoor scent and tint to them as the glass in them is a light green color. When I put the sunglasses on the piece that goes on my nose also goes into my mouth so that I'm tasting an outdoors taste.

I mention this to this lady who is with me how neat it is to experience the outdoors while wearing these sunglasses and wonder why she is not experiencing the same thing when I notice that she had tried on a different kind of sunglasses that have a light orange color on the glass. I tell her to try the sunglasses on that I had on, but want to wash them first since I had them in my mouth. I take them into a bathroom and am carefully washing them being careful not to drop the small pieces that went into my mouth down the sink when I become lucid and wake up.

Power Plant - Leaving A Bunch Of Wiring Outside (Vivid) I leave a bunch of wiring outside of this place that looks like a power plant so I can use it later if I need it. Later I come back to get a couple of things I need and enter this small building next to this place where I use the two things to do something.

Garden Center - Making A Tree Grow (WILD) I'm standing outside in this garden center of someplace like a hardware store while lucid, which place is surrounded by a high wire fence and filled with all sorts of flowers and plants. I notice this hose running that is watering the plants and notice what a beautiful day it is outside.

I find this small tree and use my imagination to make it grow to the top of the fence and then find several more trees like it and also cause them to grow to the top of the fence. I sense that the people working there are wondering what happened.

Garden Area - Looking Out At   (WILD) I'm standing in this building while lucid looking out at this garden area that has a white decorative gazebo hanging over it, which place looks like this park I jog through.

Basement - Filling Up With Water (DILD) I'm in the basement of a house looking at this washing machine and dryer. Water suddenly begins accumulating on the floor and this now seems to be a place where a person could go swimming. When my brother comes along he's wanting to dive into the water, so I decide to dive in. But the area is so small that I'm going to have to turn sideways in order to dive into the water. When I notice that the water is only about 2 to 3 inches deep I decide it would be too dangerous to dive in, so decide instead to just jump in and land in the water butt first. I become lucid at this point and jump into the water and land on my butt.

Outside A House - Lawn Mower (WILD) I'm in front of this house with someone else while lucid, doing some sort of work like cutting the grass. There's this lawn mower sitting on the side of the house that has all of this water on it that I tilt back to empty the water off of.

Living In A Small House - Sloppy Roommates (Super Vivid) I'm living in this small house with a couple of younger guys, which house is next to this larger house where my parents live. As the younger guys have a couple of cats I check out one of the litter boxes and find it full of cat turds as they have not emptied it for a long time.

I get upset with them for not cleaning up after their cats and throw the litter box outside. When I check this other litter box it is also filled with cat turds, so I throw it outside also. When I find something with a lot of trash in it I dump it out on the floor and ask the guys why they never pick up after themselves.

The two guys are mad and me and thought occurs to me that they may both attack me at the same time. But they keep their distance as I leave the house and walk over to my parents house where I see my mom. While at my parents house this deputy stops by and asks me where the planning house is. As he has this map that is showing the small house I live in to the planning house I'm thinking that someone must have called and complained about the argument I just had with the two guys.

I tell him that I think my parents house is the planning house and when we ask my mom she also tells him that their house is the planning house. When the deputy shows her this diagram where they are wanting to put one of their offices my mom tells him that they decided to have their office in this other location and points it out to him on the map.

Water Heater - Having Hooked Up (WILD) I'm in this house while lucid in this room where I've just hooked up an extra water heater which this guy is telling me what I good job I did of hooking it up.

Park - Walking Down A Path (WILD) I'm walking down this path in this park while lucid where I see this guy ahead of me who appears to be working at the park as he is wearing this uniform. After going down the path a ways he heads off toward some bushes to do some work.

Remote Control - Good Listening Device (WILD) I'm inside this small house while lucid looking at this thing that looks like a remote control that has the words Good Listener on it. It appears to be some sort of device that teaches a person how to be a good listener.

Large Pan - Emptying Water Out Of (WILD) I'm in this kitchen while lucid emptying water out of this large pan when I notice that it has a lot of food particles stuck to it. I use my imagination to clean the pan and then dry it so that I can use it for whatever I needed it for.

Box - Kittens (WILD) I have this box that has two or three kittens trapped in it while lucid that I take outside and sit down on the ground and let them out. They are fairly large kittens that have black tiger stripes in them. They appear to be nice kittens as they come and stretch and then scratch their little paws on the ground.

Magazine - Looking At (WILD) I'm looking at this magazine while lucid that has all of this advice in it on how to invest in these different metals and other things.

Kitchen - Giving Something To The Wife (WILD) I'm in this kitchen while lucid where I have something like a dishpan full of dishes that I give to the wife. I forget exactly what I give her because the scene changes and I'm now somewhere else. (The scenes are changing so fast as this point that I'm starting to forget the dreams).

Park - Letting My Cats Walk Around (WILD) I'm in a park with my two cats while lucid where I let my cats walk around. There is this modern looking gold colored car next to my car.

Park - Parakeets (WILD) I'm in this park area while lucid that has all of these parakeets in the trees. Since it's early in the morning I change the scene to be a bright sunny afternoon after which there are still all of these parakeets in the trees chirping away.

Moving Into A Place - Needing To Put Up Some Lights Outside (DILD) I'm moving into this place where I have to put up 3 or 4 lights outside in order to see. At first I'm thinking I'm still in Nebraska and that it is too cold to put them up, but then become lucid and realize that I'm in Florida where it is warm enough to put them up.

Water - Water All Over The Floor (WILD) I'm in my bathroom while lucid where there is a couple of inches of water on the floor. I fix the scene using my imagination by getting rid of the water and then making the floor dry.

Watching This Guy And Gal In A Play - Having Lost Their Passion For Each Other (Super Vivid) I'm watching this guy and gal in a play where the director is complaining about them having lost their passion for each other. The lady comes over and asks the guy "What happened to your hair? It used to be all nice and soft to touch. Why did you start using that other shampoo again? You ruined your hair on your birthday." She then puts her fingers in his hair and starts acting like she is crazy about his hair after which I hear the audience applaud, and after which she says...Acting!

Metal Plate - Screwing Into A Wall (WILD) I'm screwing this metal plate onto the wall in a room while lucid, which plate is something like a cover for an outlet.

Brother - Robbing Stores (Super Vivid) My younger brother has begun robbing stores for a living and has successfully robbed this one store 3 times during the previous 3 weeks. He figures that if he can rob one store a week that he can make enough money to live on and now wants me to help him.

We go into this store that he has already robbed 3 times and are walking around waiting until it is 830pm to rob the store. I'm wondering how they've not noticed him when he's already robbed this store 3 times and begin to think that this is a bad idea. I notice all of these electrical cords plugged into these outlets that I'm planning to unplug right before we rob the store, but then begin thinking that they might be able to get my fingerprints off the cords, so decide not to do this, although the thought of wearing gloves does occur to me.

When 830pm arrives my brother goes to the counter to rob the store, where he is suddenly surrounded by police officers who had been waiting for him. As they seem to not know that I was with him I leave the store. Next thing I see my brother sitting in a waiting room of a jail with these officers around him monitoring his every move as he is talking to someone on this phone.

Living Room - Electrical Outlet (WILD) I'm in my living room while lucid where there is a lot of stuff left to unpack and where there is this large old obsolete electrical outlet that some guy is using for something.

Girl's Softball Game Between Missouri And Nebraska - Missouri Ahead (WILD) I'm watching this girl's softball game between Missouri and Nebraska while lucid in which Missouri is ahead 4 to 0 and has a couple of girls on base with no outs. The game looks like it is going to be a massacre.

Bank - Needing To Get Money Out (DILD) I'm needing to get some money out of this bank that they have in some sort of large container and which I seem to be unable to get out for 30 days. I become lucid at this point and imagine it being in a different kind of container where I can access it.

Boxes - Unable To Access (WILD) I'm looking at these boxes of things inside my house while lucid that I'm unable to access for something like 30 days because of the way they're organized. So I organize them in a different way so that I can access them.

House - Rewiring

Living Room - Phone (WILD) I'm in my living room while lucid where the wife is talking to someone on the phone who wants to talk to me. The wife is laughing about something they said and then tells them "Wait a minute and I'll let you talk to him."

House - Needing To Do Some Work On (WILD) I'm in this house that I need to get some work done on, only the house is a strange house that belongs to someone else. I'm thinking about contacting this company that owns the stuff in the house and having them do something with it when I decide that it would be better to let the people who own the house contact them.

Work - Having Been Moved Out (Super Vivid) I'm at work, only it someplace I've never worked before IRL. A group of women have just moved into this office where I worked and have taken over my desk and chair and the rest of the office. I'm wondering where I should sit at since they've taken over the office where I used to work.

I find my chair, but the rollers are off of it as the lady who took over my desk took the rollers off my chair and put them on her chair. There is this miniature pair of steel cowboy boots that she took off of her chair and left with my chair that I'm thinking I might be able to put on the bottom of the my chair.

Some guy has come up with this joke about the paper on this wide ruled yellow tablet that he is using where he is asking people what they see on the tablet, and is then telling them that he counted 11 lines on the paper. As the tablet that I have is narrow ruled I'm thinking about telling him that I found more than 11 lines on my paper.

While on the floor above the floor where I used to work I notice this one guy I used to work around who retired several years ago, sitting at this secluded desk behind this wall. I'm thinking that I should find a similar place to sit since no one seems to care if I'm working or not.  I decide to sit at this desk across from my friend, but there is this red cool aid in this envelope on his desk that I'm concerned might get spilled. When I mention this to my friend, he takes these two envelopes that have red cool aid on them and shakes them over this trash can. I show him the envelope I was talking about and dump the cool aid from it into the trash can.

I'm thinking I'd like to have some nuts to eat about now, but was in such a hurry to leave for work that I failed to bring any food with me, so am thinking about going out later to get something to eat. I'm looking for my laptop computer which I'm trying to remember if I left at work, and find the case that it goes in, but it has a bunch of stuff from my desk that the gal who took over my desk stashed in it. I'm thinking I must have taken my laptop home.

Work - Floating Around In My Chair  (WILD) A re-enter the previous dream where I'm at work and am lucid this time. I decide to try something dangerous so create some wheels for my chair and then roll my chair off of this stairway while I'm sitting in it. Instead of crashing down the stairs I begin to float and am now floating all around the office in my chair.

Work - Levitating The Lady Who Took Over My Desk (WILD) I re-enter the previous dream where I'm at work and am lucid again. This time I decide to have some fun with the rude lady who took over my desk. So I levitate her desk into the air and place it on the ceiling on the other side of the room, and then levitate her and her chair up against this wall and ceiling on the other side of the room. (Now I feel better.)

About solutreans, yes.  But I've been to Portugal a few times, and Maderia, and know about the significance of bacalhau in your culture. Actually much as I like bacalhao, I really like your "arroz do marisco" especially one I had in an old Lisboa restaurant once, served out of a large dish.I am glad you enjoyed your visit.

House - Working On Someone is helping me put something up on my house. We put up some sort of single thing but not this double thing.

Cafeteria - Under Construction (Super Vivid) I'm going into this cafeteria with some friends that looks like a cafeteria in a college I attended over 30 years ago. Since they are having a problem with something, the main entrance to the cafeteria is blocked off and they are routing everyone through this side entrance. They seem to to not be checking anyone's ID or asking anyone to pay for their meal because of the problem they are having.

When I go through the line the first time the only thing I remember getting is a glass of iced tea which when I get to the table I notice is really weak. I decide to get another glass of tea so get another glass and go to the tea dispenser, which when I look into I notice has only two tea bags which seem to be in cold water. Because there is so little flavor coming from the tea bags I stir them up with this large spoon and am then dipping the spoon into the dispenser to get the strongest tea.

When this guy comes up behind me I show him how weak the tea is and how I'm stirring it up and then dipping it out with the spoon. As I'm leaving to go back to my table I notice this family come into the cafeteria in which all but this one gal go this one way through the line, while the gal goes another way and ends up ahead of them.

Cat - Taking Outside (WILD) I'm taking my cat outside while lucid, who at first does not want to go outside, but is then happy to be outside once I get her outside. I leave the door ajar so that she can come back in when she is ready to come in.

Parking Lot - Coming Out Of (WILD) I'm coming out of this parking lot while lucid and am on this asphalt driveway that is somewhat narrow when I notice this red car coming down the street toward me that appears to want to turn into the driveway that I'm on. As the car is too close there is no way for me to exit the driveway before he gets there. I float out into the road and let the car run through me after which I'm sitting back in my car again. I then expand the driveway using my imagination to allow the car to get by me.

Last men alive

It is nearly the end of the world.  Three of us (all men) are the only ones left alive (i.e. it's the end of the human race!).  We are sheltering behind a hill from the immense radiating power that has caused all this upheaval.  Two of us believe it's divine intervention, and the power emanates from an angry God.  The third doesn't subscribe to that at all.

We are aware that the power is capable of interfering with the gravitational field of the earth, causing it to "jerk" through space.  This has alrady happened and now more powerful jerk will cause all the seas to be flung into space.

This hasn't happened yet and we (two of us) are praying that it won't.

Wow.  The DCs suggest that I can contemplate both a divine and a natural cause of the ultimate disaster.  But I didn't know I even wasted time thinking about this.  I guess it suggests just how fragile our existence is, and how some power from space which we cannot control nor defend ourselves against could really be our undoing.

Submerged city

I am at a doorway of an old city house and have been using a hose pipe for something.  Unfortunately I left the hose running for a long time and the water level in the whole area of the city has risen to head height.  I think to myself "surely one hosepipe can't do that" and explain to people around me it must be the tide coming in.

The water is cold but pleasant, and it's clean and fresh.  It's a very sunny day too.  I manage to get to the other side of the road by following the hose pipe.

Well I was very emotional yesterday and in some ways was hoping that would affect my dreams.  But as I believe water is connected with emotions I suppose that's what was happening.  As usual the water was calm.  And I didn't believe I was the cause of the emotion(al flooding), it was "the tide" - out of my control and temporary.

Wondering what the pipe represented.  Probably something phallic  .

Driving across Birmingham

Talking to a young male DC about how to drive to Aston on the north side of Birmingham.  The road system is complicated and it's important to take the right turning, and my attention has me now tracing a route through the various intersections and filters.

My attention is now on my old friend MR who needs to take two "straight on"s at the next two intersections.  Dunno what happened to the original DC.

I occasionally get these complicated road systems in my dreams.  It seems to be about concentration as much as confusion, as I always know when I take the wrong turning.

School friends camping

The dream starts with me pondering over a map of Scotland.  My attention goes to an area of high ground which I'm thinking is a little dull and I'm resistant to going there.  Then I look more closely and see it as the ridge of hills I often visit in dreams.  The contour lines on the map clearly show (they have a 3d look to them now) an area I know well in dreamworld.

KB has organised a camping trip.  I've packed my bags and driven to a cottage rented by another friend, JB.  They let me in.  I say "Hello Kev" as if I saw him only yesterday not like 25 years ago.  JB is putting his young son to bed and KB gives me a paper with the names and photos of everyone who is coming.  There are about 20 to 30 names there and I recognise some of them.  The photos are all taken from our Facebook pages and I note that those there that I know are all ones I have had contact with through Facebook.

Another friend, JS, has taken out his sleeping bag and is going to sleep now.  I think "Oh, sh!t, I forgot to pack mine".  I rummage in my pack and see I brought a sheet sleeping bag, but that's not enough as it will get cold tonight.  I see that in the same plastic bag it's in are some bed covers that will help with the insulation, and some of my wife's pyjamas which I think I'll keep quiet about.

As the dream becomes dark and sleepy, I wake.

A familiar dream in many ways.  Reunion stuff, maps, hills, camping.

Squirrel in drawer

(At some point in this dream I see a mouse momentarily in the corner of the room)

I am looking at a small table we have than has a drawer below the table top.  The drawer is filled with sand.  For some reason this is not considered unusual.  I feel around in the sand and in the corner I see it's been loosened.  I figure a squirrel has been in there and I put my hand into the sand and pull out a hazelnut!  I do the same again and pull out a chestnut!  I roll my eyes as if to say "yes I thought so".

I rather like the idea of a squirrel visiting my house.  Nuts are like finding buried treasure in some ways.

Bouncing around

(It must be about 8am now so dreams are getting rather lucid without actually being lucid.  If that makes sense.)

I am walking across a bridge in the city towards a shop which I'm thinking of visiting.  A male DC says to me "You don't want to go in there. That's Java's place.  I lost £15,000 there.  So I continue, heading for my previous osteopath

I come across a small brick house where my family is staying.  I notice I'm very light-footed and I jump onto a retaining wall of a rose bed or something effortlessly.  I jump down, or rather float down, and then try to bounce up onto a higher wall, which I achieve on the second or third attempt.  My son is watching all of this.

I now jump onto the roof of the house, and enjoy the view for a moment and then wonder if I'm being really irresponsible.  I am worried my son will copy me.  So I lower myself back down again carefully rather than float down.

Inside the house now and my wife is there.  I notice I'm not wearing a belt, which is not usual for me.

I love that floating feeling!

He backs his car across the street into a car on the other side of the road.

Sandy Beach - Looking Out Over (WILD) I'm looking out over this sandy beach on the ocean while lucid, where it appears to be early in the morning as no one is on the beach. I change the scene to be a sunny afternoon after which there are sunbathers everywhere.
