Met Plague in a dream, but it was nowhere close to what I had in mind in my F-6 goal.
I've been working on S-3, Transform into a Dragon, and I've had mixed results. I've noticed the effects of my efforts in my dreams, but in the dreams I start off as a dragon, not transform into a dragon. I'm not sure whether or not I should count that, but if it gets to the point where every dream has me as a dragon, I'll count it as passed. I've never had problems before with transforming into other creatures, so I don't see any reason why I should linger around on this goal when I'm seeing the end of the goal but not the means by which I wanted to see the end. For the time being, I'll still work on it, though.

Hello everyone.
This isn't going to be the most interesting of goal tracking threads, but I want it for my own personal reflection and motivation.
I'm going to be listing my goals for each month and ticking them off as they are completed
(click to show/hide) (click to show/hide)February -Learn to lucid dream ✔ -Have a DILD without immediately losing the dream ✔ -Have a WILD - X -Gain a badge from the challenges (not RC) ✔ -Have less than 5 blank entries in my DJ X (click to show/hide)March -Have a WILD without any supps ✔ -Average 1 LD per week (4 total in March) ✔ -Achieve 10 badge challenges including HA ✔ -Have less than 5 blank entries in my DJ - X -Learn from a mistake (e.g. not reality checking when I should have) ✔ -Change the scene of a dream if it's boring or I don't like it ✔ April + May -Deliberately get to the monthly meeting place for April ✔ -Become lucid during a FA ✔ -Exercise some sort of dream power ✔ -Visit a major city that I haven't been to ✔ -Ask a DC a question ✔ -Meet an alien ✔
June -Have 40 badges ✔ -Visit space again
Ongoing -View Earth from space ✔ -Play a character in team fortress 2 from a LD (non lucid - ✔) -Talk to an animal ✔ -Do something underwater ✔ -Jump off a high building/mountain and feel the fall ✔ -Ask a family member or close friend a meaningful question (?) -Fly over water (very close to it) ✔ -See a pokémon ✔ -Eat or drink something ✔ -Ask a DC what their name is. Recall the name. ✔ -Make penrose stairs
If you would like to suggest a challenge for me i'd love to hear from you. Remember i'm only just starting out so anything you think might be helpful would be great
I like that you have your goals arranged by month. Maybe I should try that as well. That seems like it would allow for more planning and intent to complete a task within your goal month.

Quote from: Moonbeam on February 23, 2012, 11:36:07 PMYou can totally do all those things!
Wait, how do you make those check marks like that? I need to be able to make those.
I just copied and pasted them from wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tick_(check_mark)
I'm not sure how to type it though.
Also thanks for the encouragement
I've been seeing Plague in at least one dream almost every night lately. I'm pretty sure I'll be closing out my F-6 goal soon. I'm switching my main goal to that one for the time being.
I can tick off a lot of my goals after last night

Quote from: Moonbeam on March 11, 2012, 08:26:14 AMYou are doing incredibly well. Very impressive and inspiring!
Thank you ^_^ I am trying my best. Still a lot more things I want to try and discover though, I want to do something unusual as most of my dreams are kind of ordinary (space, breathing underwater, flying through clouds etc...)
(content removed by user request)
I semi-completed F-5 (hang out with Sasha), but the dream was a bit short, so I am going to keep the task open. Dream is here.
Got a lot of aspirations that I want to achieve soon but won't get them all done in April, so therefore.....
April + May -Deliberately get to the monthly meeting place for April -Become lucid during a FA -Exercise some sort of dream power - fighting, conjure fire, fly above the clouds, change the physical appearance of the dream world (Inception) -Visit a major city that I haven't been to - Tokyo, Cairo, Jerusalem, New York, Las Vegas -Ask a DC a question -Meet an alien
What a great way to track your progress!
Monthly goals seems like the perfect tool for you.
I don't pay enough attention to this thread to actually motivate me to do all of the challenges, so from now on some of my more prioritised challenges will be in my sig
Ticked off "View Earth from space", something I've been trying to do since I started Lucid Dreaming
Kind of given up on the alien task. I would like to do it, but I prefer a situational approach to my lucids at the moment than trying to force a new scenario, as such I'm not focussing hard on dream-changing goals right now, I'm just gonna see what I can do when I enter a certain scene
Smart man, you've made deadlines, I shall copy this in an effort to route my procrastination!
And with my recent alien dream, all challenges for April + May are done on time. Need to think of some more goals for June now. I could do my penrose stairs goal, but I'd rather not rush a deadline to that one as I have no idea how hard it will be

Do it! It's really helpful and encourages you to focus on doing them quickly
Just curious... Has anyone ever intentionally tried to interact with demons or satan during a lucid dream? What was your experience and tell me if you are even a true believer in angels and demons. Thanks so much. Btw... Hello to everyone again!!! I know I been gone a while
Welcome back, Jmac!
No, I haven't, but being someone who is spiritual, and not religious, it has not been something that I sought out.
Love your avatar, BTW!

Thanks for your replys and thank you for the compliments I am thinking of playing with the idea just to see what its like for me
Quote from: JmacJust curious... Has anyone ever intentionally tried to interact with demons or satan during a lucid dream? What was your experience and tell me if you are even a true believer in angels and demons.
Yes, but mainly not intentionally.
Q1: Death (AKA the god Oden/Othinn/Odin, the god of death) is my dream guide.
Q2: I've had several experiences. Death taught me magic against my will. More interesting though I was possessed during a Lucid dream. A WILD starting with me seeing an HI of Moloch, followed instantly by a dream where Moloch and four other devils performed a ceremony at an altar, as soon as it was done a felt a presence in the "real world", followed by an a demonic invasion through the third eye area and down my spine, while this was happening it pulled my arms up. While in my body my brain was frozen and I could not form a thought, but I experienced every thought and emotion it had. Though I could not think, I could will and willed to fight it. It withdrew and I was awake in the real world with my arms pulled up crosswise.
Q3: Am a skeptic and don't believe in belief, unlike Moonbeam who believes in several things as a dogmatic atheist/naturalist. There are certain things which make me think maybe though. For instance when I was being taught magic in my dreams by Death, while reading the Bible, I had the plug of my lamp pulled/pop out of the socket three times. Two of them I got up and plugged it back in, but after the third I went to bed. I don't no of any natural causes that can cause a plug to pop out of a socket, but am hoping for one. The next thing that makes me think maybe is that while I was living just outside a small town of 500 people where about a dozen people claimed the Devil appeared to them while home alone I heard what sounded like a man walking up stairs. I tried to sneak up on them, but there was no one there - spooky. Years later I learned, that one of my sisters was also one of the people claiming to have seen the devil and the footsteps were coming from her room where she claimed to have seen the Devil. This was also the house where I saw dozens of demonic eyes staring at me repeatedly after prayers and closing my eyes to go to sleep (Hypnagogic images obviously, but at the time I sleep with a bible or crucifix) . It was claimed our house was built on an Indian burial ground - something I dug three separate 8 foot diameter and 6-8 feet holes each on a separate acre to test finding nothing. However, when my dad had a basement dug to build another house, while goofing around in the hole me and my sisters found a Brown Bess (British musket) with the date/number 1778 on it, so maybe our land was once an Indian burial ground. If so it would have been Dakota/Lakota/Sioux burial ground from before they were driven out of Minnesota.
Let's get this thing started again! I'm trying to get back into dreaming, so I'm going to begin with focusing on my goals again. I completed F-10 (Find my dog again) in a non-lucid dream last week. I'll post that up tonight when I have time to catch my DJ up to date.
Again, my goals here are not ones which I necessarily need to complete while lucid. I find that I generally have better quality dreams when my dreams are non-lucid, and the point here is to collect a list of things that I'd like to do and then dream about completing them. This serves two purposes: (1) it will help me explore dream incubation, and (2) it will give me plenty of awesome memories about things I've done in dreams. In this way, it's an equivalent of the WRS version, creating a bucket list.

A dreaming bucket list? I love it! Good luck Wolvendeer, onwards and forwards getting the rest of these goals done!
