As many of you, I absolutely love James Cameron’s Avatar. I was the one who made the suggestion to make Pandora the monthly meeting place in January, and I made it there more than ten times during that time. A couple of the lucid dreams I had about it were so interesting plot-wise that I wanted to continue them because they had no ending. I love to create stories and write, so this is literally a dream come true for me! So, I've given myself the lucid dreaming challenge to keep dreaming this plot, and just pick off where the last dream ended. I'm to do as little dream manipulation as possible, I want to go along with the storyline as it evolves. I think I've done well so far, and I feel ready to make its own thread about it for everyone to read.
I'm making a new reply for each dream. I'm quoting the whole dream to make sense of it, and I'm putting the plot related parts in italics. You're all welcome to reply, of course!
Jan 23rd:
I became fully lucid as I sensed that a dream scene was forming out of darkness. I focused on my hands, and I found myself in my old room at my parents' house. I slowly flew out of the window while looking down on the ground. I changed the dream scene into water, and then remembered my intent to go back to Pandora. I swam through the water and climbed onto a shore and walked into Pandora's forests. I again started out as a Na'vi, but I focused on the surroundings rather than my body. Again, no one was around, and I thought that it could be cool to see an avatar. The scene changed. I was now entering one of the labs at the human base. I remembered the Pandora dream I had the night before, and the scientists at work seemed to treat me like in the previous dream – I was no one important, rather the opposite. However, I was invited to come and see the new avatars. I walked over to a tank. The sight was impressive. A female avatar was floating on her back inside it, just like in the movie. She was moving slightly, with her eyes closed. While watching her, I felt some kind connection with her. “She looks like me!” I shouted to the others in the room. At the same time, something really strange and unexpected happen. The avatar started kicking her legs. I shouted again: ”She looks like me!” The avatar kept kicking, as if running in her sleep. The others looked shocked. Two women grabbed me by my arms, and started dragging me out of the room while someone shouted “Get her out of here! Get her out of there!” I didn't understand what was going on. I was taken to a side room which appeared to be a lounging room, though there was also a bed in it. I was pushed onto it, and one of the women showed me a hypo and told me that she would sedate me if I didn't relax. I tried to relax. The woman started discussing baby names for some relatives back on Earth, apparently trying to change the subject. I was still wondering what was going on, but I went along with her discussion, and then woke up.
Jan 27th:
I quickly induced a WILD and found myself in an empty room at the human base on Pandora. I still remembered the Pandora dream plot. I left the room and went looking for people. I ended up in a small gym where some of the others were exercising. I saw a door which lead to the Avatar lab. I walked over to it, and as soon as I touched the door knob, I heard someone behind me shout: “hey, you're not allowed in there now!” I just walked away, and went looking for another way into the Avatar lab. I was unable to find any other doors to it, and I woke up.
I was with pretty much the same group of people. We were getting ready to go outside. I didn't really know what we were supposed to do out there, but I knew that it was nothing important. A man said “masks on!” and I found myself holding a mask. I tried to put it on, but it was too big. I told this to him, and he gave me a smaller one. It was too small, but I made it fit on the second try. We went outside. It turned out that I didn't have anything that I needed to do there, so I walked to a large fence which separated the base from the forest. I stood and looked through it, enjoying the view of the beautiful Pandora forests. I was hoping to see a Na'vi or at least a living creature, but I woke up.
Jan 22nd:
I was again in one of the kitchens of the underground house. I wondered what to do. I first started tasting all the food I could find in the pans, but then I remembered that I wanted to go to Pandora. I teleported and found myself in the middle of the forest. It was daytime, and overcast. I was a Na'vi, but I didn't pay attention to my body. I walked for a good while along the small paths in the forest, but I didn't find anyone. I also climbed some trees and walked on the thick branches. The dream changed. I was still on Pandora, but I was human and I was outside in the human base, where the avatars did their training in the movie. There were no avatars there now. I talked to a man and learned that this was set after the movie, and apparently a group of humans had returned to Pandora in a desperate try to find new places to mine and seeking approval from the Na'vis to mine outside their land. I was only there as an assistant, to do all the boring tasks that the professionals couldn't be bothered to or have the time to do themselves. I thought that sucked because I wanted to try out an avatar body, so I went on my own and climbed up on a high fence and sat on it. I noticed that I was wearing an oxygen mask just like the other humans. I sat there alone for a little while until I saw Neytiri walking towards me. I first noticed how tall she was because when she walked over to me, she was almost as tall as me, but I was sitting on a tall fence. She looked up at me and asked me in her fractured English why I was sitting there, and why I looked so sad. I told her what I had just been told, that I was just here to clean up for the other humans, and they showed me no respect. She seemed to feel sorry for me. She offered me her hand, and offered to show me around in the nearby forest. I took her giant hand, and she lifted me down. I reached only up to her waist. She still held my hand as we walked past a gate and into the forest, and I woke up.
I'm putting all the Pandora dreams from last night in this reply...
Feb 2nd:
I don't remember much of the start. I was just trying to get rid of a small DC who kept following me around. I remembered my intent to yet again go back to Pandora, and I jumped into the ground and “fell” onto a patch of grass by a lake. I found myself unable to remember what Pandora looks like, and what I was supposed to do there. I managed to avoid getting frustrated as I knew that I was at the beginning of a REM cycle, and if I gave myself some time, I should be able to remember. I asked myself questions about what I was supposed to remember to help trigger my memory. The small DC had followed me, but he turned into a giant long-necked dinosaur and then vanished while I was busy thinking. I suddenly remembered what Pandora looks like, and the dream scene changed. I was now in the forest, looking up at tall trees. I soon managed to remember the dream plot I wanted to continue on as well, and I teleported to the human base. I found myself in an empty room, and I left it and started walking around. I passed several people in the hallways, and I eventually got to what appeared to be some kind of large lobby area with several large windows, stairs and hallways. Several people were milling around or sitting by some lounge areas with tables. A guy who looked like he was in his early 20s approached me, acting as he knew me somewhat well. “Hey, do you want to get promoted?” he asked with enthusiasm. I was confused and asked what he meant with that. He said something about needing someone to be in charge of cleaning/tidying desks/offices. “So, do you want to be the manager of that?” I asked what would be needed of me to fill that position, and he seemed a bit unclear on that, but that not much would change, just a little more work and pay. He said that I could do a trial period and see if I liked it or not. I half-heartedly agreed on that. At least he seemed really nice. I walked away and found the door to the Avatar lab. It was wide open, and people were passing through, so I tried again to sneak in. It went well, I got through the door, and I found myself in the lab. I started walking in the direction of where I expected to find the tanks. A man in light green scrubs and with a stethoscope around his neck stepped towards me with a “do you never learn?” disapproving look on his face. Before I got a chance to react, he grabbed me around my waist, swung me down on my back and reached over to my leg... I felt a slight sting, and saw that he was giving me an injection right into my thigh. I woke right up.
I found myself lying on a gurney with my wrists strapped. I looked to my side and saw the man who had stopped me earlier standing next to me, still with a disapproving look on his face, though he also seemed slightly amused when I sighed about my failure, and showed no anger. I apologized for entering when I wasn't allowed to. He referred to sedating me when he asked “have you learned your lesson now?” I told him that I had, and that I wouldn't do it again. I asked him to release me, which he did. I stood up. He suddenly looked serious. “Actually, could you come with me? I need to talk to you.” I hesitantly agreed, and followed him. A woman from the Avatar lab joined us. We went to a small room with only a bed, a desk with a chair and a small dresser. I sat down on the chair, the woman sat down on the bed and the man leaned against the dresser. “So-” he started, and I woke up.
I found myself in my old neighborhood again. I rubbed my hands together, and the spun myself around and teleported to the dream scene at Pandora that I woke up from. The man and woman were even in the same places as before, and the room looked the same. He started talking. “Well, this is about that avatar that started kicking, and you getting removed from the Avatar lab... sorry about that...” I looked at him and listened with all my attention as he paused. He told me that they had been looking into it. There was another pause. “That's your avatar” he said. “WHAT??” I almost shouted in surprise. “I'm not supposed to have an avatar! How did this happen??” Both of them looked almost shameful. The woman asked me if I remembered when I had a blood test taken back in the Avatar lab on Earth. I think she mentioned when I was sick, but I'm not sure. I told them yes to get the conversation going. “Well, it turns out that by mistake, it got swapped with a blood sample from (female name I don't remember) and it was supposed to be her avatar.” They explained to me that because of this, the avatar had been made based on my DNA instead of hers, so the avatar could only be mine. I asked them if she had been informed, and she had. She was also ok with it. “So what happens now?” I asked. “Creating an avatar is very expensive and takes years, so we don't want this go to waste. You will be promoted to Avatar driver if you want to.” I loudly accepted their offer. I asked them when I start. “She is already removed from the tank, so it's all ready for you tomorrow afternoon.” They barely got to congratulate me before I excused myself to go cancel another promotion. The woman laughed as I bolted out of the room and ran downstairs and found the guy who had offered me a cleaning lady promotion. He was sitting at a table with some other people. “I got promoted!” I shouted when I got over to him. “So I can't take that new position.” He looked surprised and happy for me. “What did you get promoted to?” “Avatar driver!” He looked at me with a stunned expression on his face. “But you don't have an avatar!” I told him how an avatar was made for me by mistake due to two blood samples which got swapped. He thought that this was awesome, but he asked if the other girl was ok with this. I told him that she was. I ran over to a window with a good view over the Pandora forests. The dream started to become unstable, so the view was changing. The trees shrunk. I did notice a tree which seemed to emit rainbow colored light, and it looked beautiful. I wanted to go outside, but the dream got more unstable, and I realized that the REM cycle was probably about to end. I woke up.
Can't wait for the next installment! Er. . . dream. Um. . .
Yeah!
Awesome. Who would have thought, but it does make sense. I can't wait for the next continuation of this dream.

This is amazing, I really need to go to Pandora soon. This is very motivating.
I can't wait for the next LD as well, I have always wanted to make stories out of my LD's.
Thanks for the comments, guys! I'm happy to be an inspiration, and I've also noticed how much easier it's getting to remember lucid tasks! I guess I'm more motivated than normal because this is quite the project, but I hope this will help me remembering lucid tasks more easily in the future as well.
I had another Pandora dream last night, I'll post it as soon as I've updated my DJ.
Jan 3rd:
I was in a clothing store. I wanted to get out of it, but clothing racks kept appearing in my way. I walked through them. Some customers asked me to hand them some clothes they were looking for, so I did so. I suddenly remembered that I wanted to go back to Pandora. I also remembered the storyline, so I teleported. I found myself in the Avatar lab. The woman from the recent Pandora dreams was standing next to me. She gestured to a white pod and asked if I was ready. I confirmed so, and she opened it up and gestured to me to lie down in it. I did so. “Keep your head still, relax, and try to let your mind go blank”, she told me as she pulled a grid over me and closed the lid. It was almost completely dark in there, I lied there and waited for something to happen. Not long after, I opened my eyes again, and I found myself lying on my back in a well lit room. I slowly sat up. Some people were standing around me, probably talking to me, but I didn't pay attention to what they were saying. I looked at my arms and hands, and sure enough, they were blue with stripes. The details and realism was amazing. I even had five fingers on each hand! I saw my tail curled next to me, I waved it slightly. I decided to stand up, but when I did so, I fell face first to the floor. “I'm ok!” I said as I stood back up and felt horribly embarrassed. Suddenly, the dream scene reset itself, and I was again sitting up for the first time. I again looked at my arms, and also legs, and one of the people in the room asked me: “how do you feel?” “Like my arms and legs just outgrew my body,” I answered, noticing just how long my arms and legs felt compared to my normal real life body. I stood up and tried to walk around the room, but I was connected to wires which held me back. I also had some coordination and balance problems, so I crashed into the nearest wall a few times. “You're not supposed to walk yet! Sit back down!” they said, and I obeyed. I sat back down on the gurney, and then woke up.
Very nice again.
Interesting I've always wondered if I let my mind go blank in a dream that I would risk being lucid unless I had extremely high awareness.

There is only one way to find out - by trying!
No Pandora dreams last night, unfortunately.
Feb 7th:
I was first in my old neighborhood, just walking around. I approached a house when I remembered the Pandora plot. I teleported by walking through the wall and thinking about the last Pandora dream scene I was in. I found myself sitting in that room where I was in the last dream scene. I quickly learned that it was the day after, so that this was my second time in the avatar body. I wanted to go outside, but they didn't really want to let me because I was still new at this. I stood up and walked steadily around the room, showing off that I was ready and pleading them to let me. They finally agreed, unhooked me from the wires and let me go outside while being accompanied by another avatar. I found myself wearing dark green shorts and a top in the same color when we left the room. Once outside, I felt the sun in my face, and I started running. The other experienced avatar ran after me. I ran until I got to the wooden huts that the avatars were using. I stopped by the gate that I've seen a few times in these dreams. The other avatar stopped next to me, and we talked a little about what a bad idea it was for an inexperienced avatar to go through that gate alone. I also spent some time examining my blue striped body. I really wanted to go to into the forest, but I obeyed her. There was suddenly a knock on the other side of the gate. She seemed confused and a little worried until she seemed to realize what or who it was. She smiled as the gate opened, and Jake Sully rode in on a direhorse. He said that he was just here to talk to some of the avatars. He looked at me closely as if I looked familiar to him. “Aren't you that human girl...” “Yes, I am!” I replied. He seemed surprised. “But you weren't supposed to have an avatar!” “Long story, but it turns out I do!” He smiled and dismounted the direhorse and walked over to some avatars standing nearby. I stood there alone while they started talking, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I looked at the direhorse instead, and it seemed to take a great interest of me. It examined me with its muzzle, and I stroked its head and neck. It seemed to enjoy it. I kept petting it until I woke up.
Cool, the next in the series. Keep up the good dreamwork, Lumi.

Good work, Lumi. Keep it up!
Feb 10th:
I was at my parents' house. Not sure what I wanted to do, I walked downstairs. No one was there, so I went to the kitchen. I had some fun playing with the lights, I managed to turn off a light just fine, but when I turned on another light, it flickered and faded. I tried to turn it on again, and this time it worked. I remembered the Pandora plotline, and decided to go and continue it. I first walked outside to the garden. A white concrete wall had appeared, and when I put my hands on it, they went right through it. I jumped through it while thinking about the last scene where I was stroking the direhorse. My vision was a bit unstable at first, but I did find myself in the same scene. I was standing next to the direhorse, and I was petting it while Jake was talking to the avatars. The direhorse started to lick my hand with its long tongue. It got closer, and it nipped my hand! It felt like it had no proper teeth, but gums, which were sharp enough. It hurt a little, and I pulled my hand back. It started circling around me, and it nipped me again. It kept its head close to mine, and something strange happened when I looked into its eye. My vision went black, except for some bright sparks/spots which looked like three tiny suns. I could sense the direhorse giving me a wordless message. It's hard to describe, but I sensed that it was trying to tell me something about something bad/demon that was inside me, and that it should be cleansed. This was all that I got before we were interrupted by the avatars and Jake, but they went back to talking. The direhorse circled me again, reared and seemed to want to push me towards the gate. I took my braid in my hand and considered connecting to the direhorse, but I was unsure if it was a good idea. Jake came towards us, and he said that he was about to leave. I told him that his direhorse had been acting weird and circling around me and nipping me. He told me that this wasn't the direhorse he usually rode, he had just borrowed it from another Na'vi. He said that he would see if he could find out why the direhorse had acted strange, and he rode through the gate which closed after him. I walked back to the base. Outside, I met the woman who had gone with me, and I also told her that the direhorse had nipped me. She seemed confused as to why it would do that. We walked inside, and the dream went unstable. The next thing I knew I was standing in a library while chewing on paper, and I then woke up.
Feb 16th:
I remembered and managed to get to Pandora, though my time was very limited, so not much happened before I woke up. I'll still post it, though:
I was with a group of friends and old classmates outside a prison. We were there on a guided tour or something, and we were trying to solve a puzzle or riddle. The problem was that I never found out what the question was. Suddenly it was winter, and some of the other said that they had to leave because they were about to wake up. I flew around for a little while until I remembered my intent to go back to Pandora, but I also knew that I had to get up very soon, probably within minutes. I decided to at least try and see how far I could get before I had to get up. I teleported and ended up in the scene I had left off at, talking to the female avatar outside the base. She told me that we were going back to the huts that the avatars use, and she challenged me to a race to get there. I ran as fast as I could, though still feeling the grass under my bare feet, and the wind on my face. I outran her easily, and I stopped as soon as I reached the huts. She told me that she was surprised that I managed to run faster than her as this was only my second time in my avatar body, and she was experienced. I heard a ringing sound, and I woke myself up as I thought it was my alarm clock.
Nice win!
Was the ringing in your dream then?
Quote from: pj on February 16, 2010, 07:44:53 PMWas the ringing in your dream then?
Yes, and if I hadn't been so quick to wake myself up, I would have realized that... It didn't sound like my alarm, more like a cell phone, and it sounded like a dream sound.
I had another tiny part again last night... Actually two, but one of them doesn't count.
I quickly teleported to Pandora again, and I found myself standing by the hut with the female avatar. She introduced me to some male avatars who were nearby. One of them was so eager to shake my hand that he forgot to let go. They only had time to say that it was a pleasure to meet me and other small talk before I woke up.
Feb 18th:
I don't remember what I was dreaming when I teleported to Pandora, but the dream had just started anyway. I returned to the scene where I was talking to the other avatars. I asked the woman what I was supposed to do for the rest of the day. She told me that I was supposed to train and do some exercises to get used to my avatar body. I walked with her to a simple obstacle course with some logs and fences that I was supposed to get over. And I did so, with a running start. I actually didn't get across the first obstacles on my first try, they were as tall as me, and the top log was loose on one of the obstacles, so that it spun which sent me falling onto my back. With some more tries, I cleared the obstacles easily. The last one was a balancing log, it was thick and held up by wooden planks in each end, and I was supposed to stand on it. It spun like a wheel and I first fell off. The woman was watching me closely the whole time, and she was now standing next to me. I got back on it, but trying to balance on it was just as hard as trying to stand on a log floating on water. I stepped and ran around on it, trying to find a balancing point, but despite my high level of lucidity, it was difficult. I remembered that I had a tail, and I started using it to level out my balance, I swung it from side to side in the opposite direction of the spin of the log. The log slowed down, and I only had to take a few steps before the log stopped spinning, and I was standing still on top of it. I saw the woman write down something on paper, while muttering what sounded like “amazing...” “What?” I asked. “Nothing!” she told me a bit louder. I asked if I could jump down, and she let me do so. I jumped and did a mock gymnastic landing with a bow. The other avatars called for our attention while holding a basketball. We went and played with them, though I wasn't that good at it. I missed the basket at almost all my attempts, but it was really a lot of fun. It started getting dark, and we were discussing human food and getting ready to go inside when I woke up.
Human food? Do Navi eat human food?
Quote from: pj on February 18, 2010, 04:21:34 PMHuman food? Do Navi eat human food?
I think that was part of what we were discussing, but we were mostly discussing what was for dinner after we had returned to our human bodies.
Feb 19th:
When the dream started, I was making my way out of my room on the human base on Pandora. I was in my human body, and I was making my way to the Avatar lab. I was stopped on the way by some people with breakfast, and I quickly ate a slice of bread, assuming that the wheat it was made of was grown on Earth. The dream got a bit unstable, and the room and hallway kept changing. I also had a hard time getting where I wanted because some people were dragging lots of clutter from a storage room and into the hallway. A girl joined me on the quest to find a way around. We eventually did, and the woman from the previous dreams greeted me and showed me to the link pod. She opened it and gestured for me to get in, and I did. I told her that I knew the drill by now. She smiled and closed the lid, leaving me in darkness. I saw some moving lights before I found myself in my avatar body, which was in a bed in the hut. I got up, and saw all the other disconnected avatars lying still in their beds. It was early morning, and the sun was just rising outside. I went outside, and the view was beautiful! I could still see the glow from the bioluminescent plants on the nearby hills, and the sky was a mix of blue and red. The other avatars came outside and joined me. “It's so beautiful!” I said. They agreed, but they seemed used to it by now. I just stared for a while as the others gathered, getting ready for the day. I noticed that even though they were wearing “human” clothes, they had some Na'vi jewelry as well. We were going to go into the forest just outside the human base to get more familiar with Pandora's forests and how to survive in them. We walked out of the human base while our group leader told us to stick together to make sure that no one got lost and killed. I looked around and touched some plants, and generally being in awe. I stopped by a tall tree and asked if I was allowed to climb it. “Sure” the leader told me, and she stopped with the rest of the group and watched as I approached it, and then jumped up and climbed up its trunk. I got pretty high up quite quickly. I was just about to take in the view from up there when I woke up.
Nice.
We've had two of those evening twilights here the past couple days - it is such a magical time.
Hopefully your on Pandora right now, Lumi. Can't wait for the next experience.
I had another short Pandora visit. Though it lasted no more than a minute, it added some to the plot, so I'll add it:
The dream started with a lucid false awakening. I was at my parents' house, and I went outside and walked around in the neighborhood. Then I had another false awakening, and I went downstairs and someone knocked on the door. Two men and a woman stood there, wanting in. I asked them what they were there for, they said that they were going to meet my parents, and they were hungry. I told them that my parents weren't home, and I didn't know them. One of the men kept repeating that he was hungry, and they tried to push in. I shut the door and locked it. The house changed and became larger, and they went to a new door and tried to get in. I locked them out by dream manipulation, but I soon gave up and wanted to change the dream. I decided to teleport to the tree in Pandora, but the dream went unstable when I did so. I still found myself high up in the tree I had climbed. I decided to climb back down to join the others. I climbed down as easily as I had climbed up, but when I was close to the ground, the dream collapsed and I woke up.
February 25 was an active night! Three Pandora dreams!
I was visiting a non existent friend. She was talking about something uninteresting and that I was going to stay overnight. Though I was already lucid, I randomly did a RC, and I suddenly remembered my intent to go to Pandora. I excused myself and said that I needed to use the bathroom, and I snuck out of the house. I flew away and ended up in a small town. I was planning how to teleport when my mom showed up and distracted me. She told me that I had to hurry to make it to my dentist appointment. We walked into a nearby building where the dentist's office was, and I told her that the appointment isn't until Monday (this is actually true). I worried that my dream friend would find me here, and she did. She approached me and told me angrily that she never wanted to see me again after I had left her like that. I told her about my appointment, but she just walked away. I teleported. Once on Pandora, I climbed down the last part and joined the avatar group. They stared at me for a few moments before they acted as normal again. We started walking further into the forest. I suddenly woke up.
The dream was unstable at first, but I was in the same scene. The group leader told us to be on the lookout for animals, and we used their trails as a path to get through. To help, I frequently climbed up trees to get a good overview and see if any animals were approaching. The group leader told us now and then about what the Na'vis live off in this part of the forest. I saw some small creatures that looked like brown mice run around on the ground. I tried to catch one, but they were afraid of us and they ran and hid under leaves and bushes. The group leader told us that the Na'vis hunt those for food. I also saw some red birds in the distance, and I assumed that the Na'vis get their feathers from them. Once while I was up in a tree, I stood on a narrow branch without holding onto anything. The other shouted at me that I was going to fall. I ignored them and stood there, looking for anything living. I eventually climbed down, and they all looked at me like I was crazy. During the walk, one of the avatars randomly transformed into my mom. She was as big as us, and she had a big smile on her face and she kept trying to hug me while I was trying to turn her back into the original DC. I eventually managed to do so, but I then woke up.
I was again walking with the other avatars. We were now heading back towards the base. One of the others walked behind me and grabbed my tail and pulled it for fun. I shouted “hey!” back at her and pulled my tail out of her reach. We kept walking for a little while until I woke up.
I was wandering around in an unfamiliar neighborhood, and I flew over a river. When I landed, I landed on slimy jellyfish, and I was barefooted. I hovered over the water and dipped my feet to get the goo off. Once back on the ground, I remembered Pandora, and I quickly teleported. I was again with the avatar group in the forest. We got to an open area, and I saw some creatures that looked like lizards, and some of those red birds. They looked like a cross between a banshee and a parrot. Suddenly, we were inside a mall, and we were all human. The others seemed confused. I said something like “Sorry, my dream is acting up” and teleported back. As we were about to go back into the forest, Jake approached us again on the direhorse. It was the same as last time. We stopped and talked with him. He dismounted the direhorse which soon turned its attention to me. Jake turned to me and jokingly asked how Pandora was treating me, and pointing out that I had survived so far. I told him that all I had got was a bruise, which I had noticed earlier. I had a blue and purple bruise in my palm which funny enough was paler than my skin. He took my hand and started rubbing my palm while muttering something in Na'vi while closing his eyes. He let go and asked how it felt now. “Better! Thanks!” I said, surprised. He seemed to be about to tell me something, but one of the other avatars interrupted and wanted to ask him something. I left them alone and stepped away to wait for them to finish. The direhorse circled me again, but then it seemed to leave me alone. I stood still, facing the horizon and enjoying the view. Suddenly, the direhorse put its head out between my legs and lifted me up. I ended up on its neck and I cried out as it bolted away. I grabbed on its antennas and slid onto its back to avoid falling. I took a quick glance back at the other while making a face of desperation. Jake gave me a shocked look back, but he was too far away to do anything. I managed to stay on its back without much problems, and I noticed how smooth its skin felt against my bare legs. It kept on running, and I had no idea where we were going, or why. I figured that it was time to connect to it, it seemed like the best thing to do and would allow me to get control. I took the end of my braid in one hand and one of the antennas in the other hand. Holding its antenna felt just like holding the stem of a tulip, just thicker. I even saw the pink strands move around and connecting to each other when I put my braid to the end of the antenna. I felt the direhorse's reaction as it slowed down its pace and got aware of the connection. I could feel its heartbeat and I sensed how it felt my body against its skin. In my mind, I asked it where we were going. I didn't sense a reply. It seemed busy focusing on its path. While we were connected, it also warned me against incoming branches and letting me know when we were getting close to creeks and rivers. Eventually, it slowed down to a walk. I still stayed on its back. I woke up.
Feb 27th:
I was trying to get an annoying DC to stop trying to grab me when I remembered the Pandora challenge. I quickly teleported and found myself on the back of the direhorse. It picked up the pace and ran through a small plain and back into the forest on the other side. I was now enjoying it, because I felt so in one with the direhorse. I now had some communication with it, and I learned that it was male, and that I would just have to see/experience this myself. He communicated without language like the first time, it was more like he allowed me to read his mind and only get the meaning of what he was thinking, as he had no language. He slowed down as we made it to an open area in the forest. The sun was setting. I saw a group of female Na'vis sitting on the ground and talking. They stopped talking and some of them stood up when they saw me arrive on the direhorse. Their faces were somewhat blurred to me, so I couldn't read their facial expressions. The direhorse stopped, and I woke up.
What a night! Four Pandora dreams!
I was sitting on the back of the direhorse once I was dreaming again. The female Na'vis stood up as I was dismounting the direhorse. It actually wasn't that easy. Neytiri was with them, and she walked up to me with a surprised look on her face and asked me what I was doing here. I told her that the direhorse brought me here. She stared at me, even more surprised as I told her that the direhorse had tried to give me some kind of message. She told me to stay where I was, and that the girls would keep me company while she went to find out more about this. She mounted the direhorse and rode off in a hurry into the forest. I sat down with them and they gave me somewhat confused and curious looks. Only one or two of them spoke any English, and not very well. I tried to ask them whose direhorse it was, but they didn't understand the question. They said something in Na'vi, and I guess they were saying that they didn't understand me. One of them seemed to remember some English after a while, and I think I told her that I had only been on Pandora for a short time, and that it was beautiful. It got dark as we sat there. I woke up.
I had lied down, though not asleep, when another Na'vi girl approached us. She enthusiastically said to me “Come! You must come!” and she took my hand and helped me up on my feet. Still holding my hand, she ran and pulled me with her. We ran through some bushes and onto a path. She just kept telling me to follow as we hurried off. It was suddenly daylight, so I tried to make it night again. I succeeded, and then suddenly woke up.
I was outside a stable near a forest. It was a sunny day, and I watched some horses in a pasture and some people riding by. I felt like running, though I didn't want attention. I transformed myself into a horse and started running towards the forest. I remembered the Pandora dreams, but I just wanted to do this first. I found a path and followed it. As I passed the pasture, several horses neighed after me, and the riders on the other side spotted me. I picked up the pace and galloped as fast as I could as I saw and heard the riders following me, shouting that a horse had got loose. I jumped several high fences which belonged to partially torn down pastures, which forces them to slow down. I decided to go ahead and return to Pandora. I simply changed the dream and I was again holding the hand of the Na'vi girl who was bringing me somewhere. We went off the path and around some large boulders. I then saw where we were going. I saw the tree of souls glowing ahead. A large group of Na'vis were sitting in rows in front of the tree, all connected and looking focused with their eyes closed. I believe they were humming something, but I was paying more attention to what I was seeing. Neytiri's mother, Mo'at was standing under the tree. The girl let go of my hand and gestured me to walk over to Mo'at, who was reaching her arms out to her sides. Intimidated and not knowing what to expect, I slowly walked up to her. She was friendly towards me, and gestured me to sit next to her. I sat down on the soft moss with my legs and tail to my side, and my hands in my lap. She took my braid in her hand, and as I watched, she connected it to one of the tree's long, luminous threads. Just as the connection was made, my avatar body gave a twitch, and an indescribable feeling washed over me, as if my mind was flooded. It was so overwhelming that I woke right up.
I was in a town when the dream started, but I quickly changed the dream to the last Pandora scene. I was sitting in the same spot, just having being connected. My eyes closed, and I saw abstract and some round shapes moving around on a dark background. They were mostly red and yellow and moved independently from each other. Then I also started to hear what sounded like voices, though I couldn't tell them apart. As this went on, it started to get difficult to keep my dream body up. I could feel it, but it got harder and harder to keep control of it. To avoid waking up, I let it fall over on its side. The connection stayed. I started receiving the message. Like with the direhorse, it was wordless, but I understood the meaning. “You need to be cleansed – bring your body”. After I had received the message, I came around, and Mo'at disconnected me. I sat up, and the other Na'vis got up as well and started going back, looking like they were puzzled about something, and talking amongst themselves. Neyitiri and the other girl walked up to me and had me follow them. They said that they were taking me to their home and let me go to sleep, so that I could return to my human body and bring it here. We stopped in a more open area in the forest with several large trees. Mo'at approached me again and told me that she didn't know if Eywa had bigger plans for me than what we had learned for now. I had the feeling that she still knew more than me. I climbed up a tree with the other girl, and she pointed out a hammock for me. It looked just like in the movie. I got into it and curled up. It was actually really comfortable. I relaxed and closed my eyes, and I woke up.

I want to ride a direhorse now! I need to get back to Pandora...
I technically had two Pandora dreams last night, but I'm only counting the last one...
I was wandering around outside my old high school in the middle of the night. I remembered my intent to go back to Pandora, and my previous short Pandora dream. I decided to start over and I changed the dream scene. I found myself in the link pod. The lid opened, and the woman from the previous dreams was staring at me as I sat up. “What happened? Are you ok?” she asked in a rather loud and worried voice. I told her that I was ok, and safe with the Na'vis. I told her that I had to bring my human body to them. She said that we should go and have a meal and talk. We went to the cafeteria, and we sat down at a vacant table. I told her about what had happened. She listened with a surprised look on her face, and when I was done, she told me to go to my room and start packing, and that she had to talk to some people. I went to my room where I found a bag, and I shoved clothes from my dresser and into the bag. The dream fast-forwarded itself. It was now morning, and I was carrying my bag out of my room. She met up with me and some other people. They took me outside where a helicopter was waiting. I also heard at least one somewhere in the air. I took a few moments where I just stood there and took in the view around me. Holding my bag, I went to the helicopter with the others, and I then woke up.
The good stuff is at the end...
I was in a car with some strangers who seemed to know me. I don't remember who was driving. We were in a tunnel leading out of an underground parking lot. We were forced to choose between two exits, but you couldn't see where they lead to before you actually drove through them. The others talked about how they had heard rumors that the second exit lead to a certain death, and that everything that was left, was the cars. By accident, we drove into the second exit. It turned out to be a parking lot, but all the cars were abandoned. We realized that several of the cars had been here for a long time, so the owners were probably dead. We turned the car around and tried to get out the other way as soon as possible. As far as I can remember, the parking lot started to fill up with gas, but with some really fast and crazy driving, we managed to get through and back to the tunnel before a door closed us in. We decided to go for the first exit, because we figured there had to be a way out. But once we drove through, the car was suddenly hovering in air for a moment before it plunged into an ocean. We managed to get out of the car as it was sinking. It appeared that the car had been teleported with us in it to the middle of an ocean. I saw land not far away, so we swam over to it and found ourselves on a tropical island. There was a large group of people there already, the same thing had happened to them. We all walked around and talked to those already there, and I learned that they had no idea why they had been teleported here after driving to that exit. They believed that this was another planet. I explained to them that we had to still be on Earth, it looked like Earth, had the same atmosphere, day and night cycle, sun, moon and even plants. And they even had boats which had just been there when they got there. They were hesitant, as they hadn't seen anyone else there. I went on a boat with some of them to find back to civilization. I found this to be too slow, so I teleported away. I was close to the second exit. I knew that whoever was behind this was evil and only wanted harm, and possible profit for selling the cars. I decided to blow the hole parking lot on the second exit up. A girl wanted to stop me, saying that it would blow me up as well. I told her it was ok, I was insubstantial. I went in and placed several bombs around and detonated them with a big red button. I heard a boom and saw everything around me turn into balls of fire. It actually looked quite amazing. Then the fire burned out, and there was nothing but rubble and burned cars left. The dream changed, I was now standing on a road in a suburban area. I remembered the Pandora task, but I was hesitant to do it because I knew the REM cycle would soon end. I really wanted to go back there, so I decided to do it anyway. I teleported to the previous scene. I was carrying my bag and getting into the helicopter. The pilot was ready, and the others who were taking me got seated. I found a seat for myself and shoved my bag under it. I looked out the window as we took off. We were still wearing oxygen masks, and I imagined it would be a bad idea to sneeze while wearing one. I took in the beautiful scenery from above. We headed in the direction we had been going to the day before. Two helicopters were going in the opposite direction. As they passed us, I heard the radio conversation between the pilots. My pilot asked if the mission was done, and one of the other pilots said that it was successful, and they were going back to base. I wondered if I should ask about what that was about, but I decided not to. We didn't get much further before I woke up.
Wow... just wow. I had these three last night:
I was at my parents' house. I didn't want to be there, so I left and started walking away. My brother followed and wanted to go wherever I was going. I remembered my Pandora challenge, but my brother kept following and talking to me, so teleporting was hard because his presence demanded my attention. I managed to distract him when we walked past a school, and I ran away and teleported. I was in the helicopter again, flying over the Pandorian landscape. I enjoyed the view as we got closer to where we were going. I could see several Na'vis underneath as we started to descend. I woke up when we landed.
I was at my parents' house when the dream started. My parents were talking nonsense about family members, so I decided to just to go to Pandora instead of listening to them. I changed the dream scene, and I was outside the helicopter and the others got out as well. One of them had my bag. The Na'vis greeted us and seemed pleased to see us. The Na'vi girl who was with me the last time was there and seemed excited to see me. She seemed to find my small human body kind of funny, and she went down on her knees to reach down, and she hugged me. We went to the same group of tree which was close to where I had gone to sleep in my avatar body. Mo'at greeted me there as well, and I was free to walk around during the rest of the day. The dream started to go unstable at this point, the scenery kept shifting and a house appeared and disappeared. But the scenery still looked beautiful. No one really told me about what was to come, but I didn't ask either. I took some time to study some of the foliage up close, and I saw some beautiful flowers in various colors. I was sitting alone in the grass when I heard a beep from my oxygen tank. I walked over to the helicopter and met the other humans who were standing around and talking. I told the lady I've been most in contact with that I think that I was about to run out of oxygen. She went into the helicopter and got a new oxygen tank and told me that she would replace it for me. She told me to hold my breath as she replaced it, and it would only take a few seconds. I inhaled and tried to hold my breath, but it was impossible! I managed to exhale more slowly, but I couldn't hold it. She had replaced it by then anyway. I looked over to a cluster of trees and saw a small white building which I knew had to be a portable lab/cabin. I pointed towards it and asked if that was what the other helicopters has been up to. She confirmed so, and told me that I could enter. I would find my stuff in there. I walked over to it and entered. It looked like the one in the movie. I found my bag and opened it. I found a teddy bear with my things. I woke up before I made my way out.
I was somewhere in a nearby area with my brothers. I wanted to get back to Pandora as soon as I could, and I flew away and teleported. I was again on Pandora, and it was getting dark. I could see the glowing lights which came from the plants, but they were a bit blurry. Mo'at approached me and told me to get out of my clothes and wait for further notice. I did so, knowing that it at least wasn't real. I lied down in the grass as I waited for something to happen. I noticed that some long stems with flowers coiled themselves around my body. They stuck to me when I got up again as a female Na'vi told me to come with her. Having to now carry my oxygen around, I followed her. We approached the tree of souls. I could hear the Na'vis singing when we got there. She gestured me to walk up to Mo'at, much like the last time. I walked past the Na'vis, and up to Mo'at. She told me to lie down, and at the same time, I saw some Na'vis carry my avatar body and placing it with its head towards mine as I lied down. I noticed that they had dressed my avatar body in traditional Na'vi clothing. I curled up to my side and lied still, and I started to feel tiny threads crawling into my skin. It was painless, but it felt indescribably weird. This went on for a while as more and more threads came up from the ground and into my body. I heard some Na'vis gasp. I wondered why. My vision was blurred, and there was no telling if my eyes were open or closed. I then started to feel my avatar body rather than my human body. I opened my eyes, and I looked up, definitely being in my avatar body. I sat up. Mo'at took both my hands and helped me to my feet. It felt like something was holding me back, but I got to my feet. Holding one of my hands, Mo'at reached her arms towards the Na'vis and shouted something in Na'vi, which I sensed meant “it is done.” Everyone cheered. They disconnected themselves and started talking amongst each other. I looked at my hands. Surprised, I turned to Mo'at and showed her my hands, saying “I only have four fingers!” I woke up.
Time to update!
April 1st:
I was in a strange forest with random objects stuck in the ground. I quickly remembered the Pandora dreams, and I walked around while recalling the last dream. I got to the dream scene by flying so fast that the dream scene blurred, and once I landed, I changed day to night, and I was in the scene I had left it at. I was facing Mo'at while showing her my hands and how they had only four fingers. The dream went unstable so I lost what she said, but I gathered the meaning, that it was Eywa's will that I would be a Na'vi and be a part of the tribe, and that she and Eywa knew that I was ready for it. She proudly told me: "You are a Na'vi now" and walked off towards the village. The dream skipped ahead, but it was the same night. I realized that the people who had brought me here wasn't present, so I ran to the portable shack and knocked on the door. The area around it was quite bright from luminous bushes and moss. After a few moments, the woman opened the door, and stepped out. "Wow, look at you!" she said as she looked up at me. She only reached up to about my hip. One of the guys also came outside. They smiled at me until they saw my hands. They stared at me with their eyes wide open in surprise. I told them basically what Mo'at had told me when I showed her my hands. Wanting to know how this could happen, she asked me if I would let her take a blood sample from me. I agreed to that, and sat down in the moss as she hurried inside and got what she needed to draw some blood. While wrapping a rubber strap around my arm and poking me with a needle, she told me that she would probably be up all night analyzing this, and she had brought data of a blood sample taken from my avatar before I was linked to it. We bid each other goodnight, and I walked back to the tree village. My new best friend greeted me and showed me to the same hammock I'd used the night before, she told me that this was my sleeping spot from now on. I climbed into it, and lied down to rest. I wondered if Na'vis dream. I "fell asleep", and found myself in a lucid dream within the lucid dream. I was human again, flying slowly over a brown and gray city on Earth. It was evening, and it looked crowded and polluted. I found myself in the hammock again, and it was sunny. My Na'vi friend approached me and shouted "catch!" and threw a fruit at me. I caught it. I looked a lot like an orange, just somewhat smaller. I peeled it open. The peel was thick, and inside the fruit, there were some differently sized round fruit parts. I ate them, they were juicy and tasted great. They tasted like a cross between orange and apple, and also quite sweet. She walked off, and I went to some Direhorses which were feeding nearby. One of them, the same one that had given me the message and brought me here in the first place, walked towards me to greet me. I felt sure that no one would mind if I went for a little ride, and I connected my ponytail to it and hopped onto its back. It slowly cantered and slowed down at the tree village. Several Na'vis waved to us. I then got the Direhorse to turn around and go back to the pack. I walked back to the portable shack and met my human friends. The woman told me that the blood sample showed that my DNA had been altered when Eywa had made my Avatar body permanent. She still seemed surprised by this, and said that my DNA now looked like Na'vi DNA rather than a mix between human and Na'vi DNA. I asked if there was any human DNA left in me, but she didn't know yet. She had to go back to her lab to find out. She asked me how I liked it here. I told her that I love it here. They wanted to go and greet the Na'vis as well, and we all walked back. The Na'vis seemed happy to see them, and as they were busy talking, my first friend and a young male Na'vi had me join them to pick berries. They carried baskets made from dry, thick straws. We walked over to an area in the forest which was quite full of bushes with several kinds of berries. We were there for a type of berry that looked like blueberries, just larger and deeper blue, and growing on bigger bushes. I noticed that they had a thick sticky center when I picked them. I asked them if there were any poisonus berries on Pandora. They told me that there was only one which shouldn't be eaten, and it was white and uncommon. The girl pointed out the fact that I was left handed. It was rare for a Na'vi to be left handed, and they found this rather fascinating. I sped the time up a bit so that we would finish picking berries. Our baskets were then full, so we went back with them and gave them to a female Na'vi who were really happy with the amount we had got. She was going to use them to make/cook something, but I never learned what because I woke up.
I had three last night, but only two really added anything. I decided to see my human body right after having had my Avatar body made permanent:
I reentered fairly quickly. I found myself standing close to the tree, and I walked over to where I had been laying. A small girl was lying on her side, and I walked over and knelt down. It was strange seeing my “old” dream body like this. She looked around 18-19, and had black, flowing hair covering most of her face. The oxygen mask had already been removed. Some other Na'vis saw me kneel with the body, and they walked over to me. I stroked her face and hair. She was definitely dead, and it felt strange kneeling there and stroking her/me. She looked so small and fragile. I asked what they were going to do with the body. They said that they were going to bury it. They offered to hold a funeral for my old body, but I told them that there was no need. I meant to change the scene, but I just woke myself up on accident again.
I was back on Pandora again. I decided to explore the area around where we were staying. There was a tall and steep hill not far away, by an open area. I headed in that direction, alone, and I walked, ran and climbed all the way to the top. The view up there was amazing. I could see far over hills, and taller mountains by the horizon. After enjoying the view, I went back down. I walked around in the forest and met more Na'vis. I walked with them over to the entrance of what appeared to be a rather large cave. I could see torches illuminating a tunnel. Jake was standing outside, and I had a short conversation with him. He was happy to have me there. We went for a walk through the forest, and we walked past the meadow where the direhorses were feeding. The direhorse I had gotten quite familiar with came running towards me and stopped. It gently stroked its head on my arm, as if greeting me. I confessed to Jake that I kind of wished the direhorse was mine. He said that maybe he could arrange that. He walked with me over to a tree which some male Na'vis were sitting in. He climbed up and talked to one of them in Na'vi. He climbed back down and told me that the man didn't mind giving up the direhorse to me, as we shared a special bond. I was happy, and I ran back to it, and connected to it and hopped onto its back. I got it off to a running start, and we took off into a deeper part of the forest. I found a trail and let the direhorse lead the way. It seemed to get wider, and I could see what looked like old tire marks in the mud. The direhorse went on, and I saw some abandoned mining machinery by a small plain. I supposed no humans knew of it having been left behind there. I had the direhorse turn around and run back. I woke up before I got there.
