Beginning May 1st and running the entire month, I will be holding a Back to Basics workshop.
This workshop is built around basic induction practices and methods such as dream sign identification, reality checks, MILD, and DILD. This is an active participation workshop, you will be given exercises to carry out every day with the goal of either having your first lucid dream or increasing the frequency of your lucid dreams.
This workshop is open to both the novice who had only a few lucid dreams and to the experienced lucid dreamer.
If you are interested, please use this thread to sign up.
Sounds good! I'm going to be 'on the road' for a few days during this period, but that's only 4 days. I think it's highly motivating to join, so count me in!
Sounds awesome! I'm in.
I'm up for it, need to get back in the swing of things.
I'm in as well!
Count me in.
I'm In!!
indeed seeker this is a very very good idea, infact this whole section is. I have experimented with RCing and it really does increase the amount of lucids I have had and anything that helps with that I am in with.
So count me in please mate
You really can't overdo covering the basics. Without hammering the basics over and over you have no real foundation to build on and you risk losing some of the skills you already have. I know I have.
I'm in.
This could really help me since things have been a little slow for me lately. So I'm in. Thanks!
Im in. I've been having trouble getting lucid regularly so far this year. A refresher course should whip me back into shape. Great idea Seeker. By the way... fancy running into you here.

Great idea. I would love to join.
What a great opportunity to keep motivated. Not to mention working out those prospective memory muscles.
Back to basics seems to be in keeping with the theme of the past couple weeks.
That sounds awesome! Count me in as well, I hope to get a higher frequency of lucids.
This is a brilliant idea, Seeker.
I'm in!
Quote from: Snowy Egypt on April 16, 2008, 07:28:16 AMYes, I REALLY need to relearn the basics. I'm in!
Just one question; will this be here on the site, or in some city IRL???
Let's do it at YOUR house! Welcome to the Mist!
I really, really wish we could do it IRL sometime, but that costs mucho $$$, especially for our international members.

Yes, lets!!!! I'm sure my parents won't mind...
That would be great if we could do it IRL, though. That could be a long-time goal for us.
And thanks for the invite! Glad to be here!!
Snowy! I'm so glad you're here!
We should definitely make the IRL Workshop a long term goal, that would be so cool.
Is it too late to join?
If not, then please add me to that list!
Yay!! Kro's on the bandwaggon!!!

I agree wholeheartedly..I'm sure it could be done in the future, at least on a small scale. Perhaps by region
That makes sense...and if we DO manage to pull it off, we could try to have them all at the same time, and view everyone from tons of webcams!!!!
Hehe, sorry. Went a little overboard there.
Lol not like tons of webcams, but just one webcam and a high-reso display for each place would suit xD
Then we could go to the theatre.. request Matrix or Waking Life be shown xD
Ok, enough (day)dreaming. Not like I'll be able to attend anything in brazil anyway :(
Aww...come on Kro, turn that frown upside-down!!!
This is going to be really cool. Count me in too!
Syllabus coming in the next few days. It's almost time!
Count me in, Seeker!
Thanks for taking the time to do this for us, it means a lot to all of us I think.
I'm in!
Is it all being posted in this thread, or PM. I want to take part in this, but ive got school starting again next week so i prob shouldnt. Can i half join? if that makes sense.
Yup I`m in ;D I definitely need to get back into the swing of things!
Its amazing how much enthusiasm there is for such a (relatively) small number of MMers!
I'm in for this also; I count myself among the ranks of the novice lucid dreamers (even though I have known about the concepts for years) so hopefully this kind of focused tasking will help me to improve my skills.
Looking forward to it!
I'm joining
I'd like to participate too. Lucid dreaming is always hit or miss for me. Sometimes hit, usually miss. :(
Sounds great, Seeker! My recall is really in a pit lately, so my DJ is slacking, and so soon after I started it too. I need some motivation, and this should do the trick!
Hey Seeker,
This is exactly what I need at this time; sign me up.
I've been focusing on OBEs the past couple of months and have let my LD practice slide. I need this refresher!

You're in Don. Perhaps one of these days when my life is not too hectic, I can participate in one of your workshops as well. I wanted to this last round, but real life has a way of asserting its priorities.
Not quite sure exactly what I'm signing up to here but as the worst LDer in this forum I probably stand to benefit the most!
Please count me in Seeker. Thanks.

Although i'm trying not to be too self-depricating, I bet I could beat you for title of Worst LD'er here
Only two days till it starts, i'm really looking forward to it. Will it be contained by a single thread, or perhaps have its own sub-board dedicated to it?
Hi, I just found out about this workshop. It's an amazing idea!
I know I overlook many basic ideas and techniques because I think I "already know it." Thank you so much Seeker! I am positive that this workshop will greatly help everyone - regardless of skill level - to get much better in the art of lucid dreaming.
Having said that... I'm in!
The workshop is now open as a subforum in 'Seekers Corner'.

Please read the Welcome thread and the Workbook thread.
Signup for the workshop will consist of your creating a Workbook for yourself.
Thanks everyone for your interest!
