Hi, I'd love to hear from any other uk based lucid dreamers.
Hi,
I'm looking for Hungarians interested in LD.
bf79@netposta.net
Caroline and Rob, I'm from South Wales. It might be interesting to have a UK LD society/group etc but it's not clear to me what we would get that we don't get from this forum. LDers are quite a weird bunch, do you really want them dropping in on you?
Owen, I imagine that having a more local network would have many positive pyschological side effects. A reduction in feelings of isolation, for instance. And would open up many more possibilities, an expert such as Dr. Herne (a dream researcher based in Manchester) may take an interest in giving a lecture to a prepared group for a fee, for instance.
Rob,
I'm always surprised how little interest generally there seems to be in lucid dreaming. Do you know any people locally that are interested. I certainly don't know any down here. Of course I myself could hardly attend the regular meetings of a club in Sheffield. But by coincidence I was brought up in Chesterfield and have relatives there so I could seriously arrange my visits for periodic meetings of an LD club in the north midlands!
Regards,
Owen
Owen, Sounds interesting. Do you have an email address?
Rob
Rob, my email is owen_francis@yahoo.co.uk, Owen
Hello, my name is Eric Vanderlinden and I live in the province Brabant in Belgium. I got hooked to lucid dreaming about 10 years ago (I'm 30 now) when I got a spontenous lucid dream which had a very high impact on me. From that moment on I tried to read as much as possible on the topic. The books and Nighlight issues from Stephen and the Lucidity Institute, but also Carlos Castaneda's books and books on Astral Projection etc...
In those first years I was also looking for other Belgians to share thoughts with, but whenever I started the topic with my friends and colleagues I hit a brick wall. The last 5 years lucid dreaming was always in my thought before going to sleep, but I wasn't 'in to it' so much anymore. There's lots of information on the Internet, and also a lot of people to meet through e-mail, but this is somewhat difficult for me. Being busy with it on a regular basis during my waking time is my trigger for inducing LD. And talking/writing to other people is also a strong motivator. But I don't like to write long e-mails as it takes a lot of time which I don't have much. I'd rather have conversations about it face to face, which is the reason why I'm looking for other Belgians interested in sharing knowledge.
If you're one of those people please contact me at lucidrome@hotmail.com
Other people are of course also very welcome to write me, and I'll try to answer your e-mails a.s.a.p.
Best wishes to all for 2003!!!

Hi there, my name is Daniel Erlacher and right now I'm working on my phd about motor learning in lucid dreams. At the University of Heidelberg and in a sleep laboratoy in Mannheim we conduct several studies about that topic (two cities in the southern part of Germany). We are always happy to find new lucid dreamers interested in our experiments. To get more information about that work see http://klartraum.de or contact me.
Of course I'm also happy to share other aspects of lucid dreaming.
Hallo, Daniel!
Delighted to find you here on the Forum -- and thanks for the link to your research site. I hope you will keep us updated on your findings. I believe there are many here who would be especially interested in your "Lucid Dreaming and Sport Science" research.
So sorry to have missed seeing you while you were (relatively) near by. Next time?
Warm aloha & sweet dreams, Keeliin
Hi, Daniel and all
I'm Ralf Penderak from Lübeck in Germany. Daniel, I know your site, but superficial. Just want to say I'm here and principially interested in experimenting. But please excuse me, as I'm busy with opening my Heilpraxis lately.
I have thought about doing experimentation on lucid dreams content, emotion and motor system once for my osteopathy exam. But then let slip that project, because it turned out to be too complicated.
I have little scientific background (some semesters of studies in human medicine) but I'm very interested in well controlled experimentation. I have in January this year started to do online psi dreams experimentation in ASD - psi dreams egroup. But due to lack of time I couldn't continue and refine the experimental design until now.
So, if I get you right and you are looking for experienced lucid dreamers for doing things in sleep lab, count me in. Remember it is a question of time for me. I then need time to prepare and train for lucidity at least four weeks. In my best times I could get lucid every second night, but now my rating is low, I'm simply too busy.
Keep on good work. I'll take a look at your website.
Ralf
Hola! Algun soñador lucido por Barcelona o provincias? Seria interesante crear grupos para hablar al respecto. Hay alguien cerca de Barcelona experimentando la potencialidad de los sueños lucidos?
Hello! I am looking for lucid dreamers in Barcelona (Spain) or anywhere around. Do you know if experiments and investigations about LD are being held somewhere close to Barcelona? I would like to participate! Thank you very much.
