Hi everyone,

I appreciate TLI creating a forum in which devices like the Novadreamer can be exchanged. I've been looking for a NovaDreamer for quite awhile. Living on a student budget, I haven't been able to find one that I can afford. I just started a PhD in clinical psychology at UC Berkeley, where I'm getting involved in research on sleep. Many psychotherapists, I think, could better help their patients if they had a better understanding of dreams and their roles in mental illness. I feel like the NovaDreamer could help me form hypotheses on which to conduct research by allowing me to more widely explore the world of dreaming than I've been able to using the techniques found in LaBerge's book. And personally, I'm very interested in lucid dreaming. So if anyone has one that they'd be willing to part with, please email me at the address below.

I'm looking for a NovaDreamer if there are any available. I've been using MILD and journaling my dreams with no success toward lucidity. When I become aware that I'm dreaming, I wake up immediately, no chance to spin!

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking about selling my novadreamer. It is in good condition. The mask is slightly worn and I had to make a modification on the mask fabric to widen the holes a little for the leds and infrared sensor. The circuit board is in perfect condition and is fully functional. I'll consider any reasonable offers. Just send me an email.

I have noted NovaDreamers on Ebay with some regularity. Using the Ebay method does provide some security and payment options that direct hookups via the TLI site may not provide -- eg. PayPal, etc.

I'd search Ebay if you don't find a friend on the fourm.

This topic thread includes "gifting" in the title. Now, I'm not asking for a personal gift, but as I proposed before a shared lucid dream experiment in Kalani needs two NovaDreamers. I'm getting one soon that I will modify to be able to remotely computer monitor and control in near real-time. The experiment needs two modified NDs so that the REM cues can be delivered in sync between two dreamers. Would you consider gifting yours to this experiment rather than selling it?

There is a very high probability I will be at Kalani, and will bring all my LDIS devices to demonstrate to whoever is interested. These include my LDIS with eye-tracking REM capability, multiple color LEDs, a sound cue interface and a vibration cue interface. Yes, it can deliver lights, recorded sounds and vibration cues concurrently. An ND interface box that can deliver vibration cues to a single finger vibrator, a glove, or it can operate a CD player. At least one modified ND that can be remotely computer controlled. Oh, and all the cool software that is the brains of the operation.

Thanks for checking with Stephen. Of course I'll need to make the mods and test them on my ND before accepting any gifts or loaners. However, the surgery looks simple and should not affect the function of the ND under normal operating conditions.

Hello, greetings, and welcome everyone. It's been a few (5?) years since I've been here, but about 2 weeks ago my interest piqued again, and I'm once again actively experimenting with LD's and OBE's. The first 10 days, I recorded 8 dreams, and much to my pleasant surprise, number 8 was lucid. I was actually writing down #7 the other night, and remembered a second dream where my first reality test failed. I had tried to read some writing on a window, and when I looked again it was gone. I started to rationalize that it was nighttime, it was foggy, etc, but I remembered someone's post about, "if you're unsure, do another reality test," and so I started swimming in the air! Anyway, a little off-post. If anyone hears of any available Nova Dreamers, please let me know. I've ordered a remdreamer from the UK, but would still much rather get my hands on a Nova Dreamer. Believe it or not, I had one years ago and sent it back! Thanks for listening, Keith
